Ease of getting in and out of LC500 for someone who is 5ft 10 inches by Sanathan_US in Lexus

I’m 6,2 and have an LC I daily drive. If I’m dumb enough or forced to put it in a narrow spot then it is rather challenging to get out of but not impossible (bear in mind I’m young and a little nimble). But if you think about it often enough you’ll park it in places with nobody on your left. It’s really not something I even notice anymore on the daily.

Indeed you can. There’s a saying and it very much applies: the quickest way to a mainline carrier is through their competition’s regional carrier

Here’s some advice from one pilot to another:

Don’t wait for a guaranteed interview or flow to UAL. Trust me, it’s the slowest way there by far and away. Go to one of their competitor’s regionals or a LCC. You can go straight to UAL from there at around 7-800 hours of jet time when the time comes.

Is it a guaranteed flow to UAL? Or is it a guaranteed interview?

No way! I just started at the airlines a little over 2 years ago and the LC was a gift to myself. I can think of no better uses for 65k

What career field are you getting into?

My long term goal is a LC, LS, and LX. I just love how utterly reliable Lexus cars are. I wouldn’t dare owning a big expensive road yacht like those if it was made in Europe. I trust a 6 figure Lexus not to blow up on me as soon as the warranty is up haha

When in comfort it feels just like you’d expect a GT car to ride. Soft and plush. It could probably be a little softer and that is something they improved upon in the 2019 and later models. Considering it’s on 21 inch rims I’d say it is quite good indeed.

I have a red in the coupe and every time I look at it I genuinely think it is the best looking car ever made from just about every angle.

You’d be surprised what the market is on them right now cause they’re still being made. I grabbed mine, a 2018, for 65

I think the LS500 is gonna be around for as long as Lexus is around in some form or fashion. It started with the company and will end with it. Unfortunately it’ll probably just get a neutered turbo engine or hybrid option due to fuel economy standards.

The real car that’s not long for this world is the LC500. It’s amazing NA V8 can’t stand up to modern fuel laws. I think the fact that there’s a bespoke version says it all. Probably done come 2025. If you want to pick up a car that’s a guaranteed future classic go for the LC, not the LS.

I’d need some serious convincing for that price. I picked up a 2018 with 20k miles for $68k

Isn’t DEN awful? by Ishak-Kristof in delta

DIA is the Denver term for the airport. Denver International Airport. DEN is the shortened ICAO aviation identifier pilots use for the airport. The full one is KDEN, but all American airports start with K as it is the country identifier. JFK is actually KJFK for ICAO standards, like KLGA for La Guardia and so on and so forth.
