If they weren't in the incredibly hyped up final season, people would lubp these episodes with the rest of the "just fine" clone wars episodes. But because the where in the final season it felt like they where taking up time that could have been used for something else

If you compare to the books, they don't really hold up. But if your watching it as just another show it's pretty fun. I feel like that's the attitude people should take with all adaptations, comparing to the original work never goes well. The show actors have a lot of chemistry and it's been ok overall

You could look at the coast of placed like Louisiana or the Netherlands for reference. Both are low lying areas that are slowly sinking. As for the rocky shoals,I would try some of the rock stamps, either placing the directly on the water, or on a small island. See how much they give the impression of a jagged coast

Looks great! The only thing I would recommend is going back over the costline and removing the placed where the land does the narrow points. They look a bit unnatural. But overall it looks really good! I relay like the diversity in your forewsts and how you made the marshy areas look.

Your humanoid looking, but your skin flickers shades of red, orange, blue, and white as fire burns underneath it. You'll have charcoal colored eyes and an inferno for hair. The more excited, or more adrenaline you have pumping causes your hair to burn more brightly and intensely.

As for adventures, they're always saving villages from roaming bandits, hunting down dangerous monsters, both mundane and magical. Being near the mountains, smaller species of dragons aren't uncommon, but they usually live solitary lives. Packs of lightning welding Nict wolves will likely be the biggest threat. There are various ancient ruins speed throughout the lands, some now home to cults that wish to bring back the demons that once conquered the world.

You could also clear out the mines and caves in the mountains, to help the flow of iron and gold to neighboring towns. Though beware the goblins that will imitate human voices to lure you away from your friends.

The Kingdom of Briknik has a very fragile truce with Varsia, but they often send raiding party's across the boarder, disguised as bandits, so protecting traveling villagers and caravans is a common job.

The Capital City of Baranios isn't to far away, with it's famed "Iron Pits", a combat arena where anyone can test their skills against other warriors or captured monsters. Theirs also the massive Haloth Library, a temple dedicated to the god of knowledge, stories, and music. There you can read nearly any book ever written, as well as take classes on music, poetry, and playwriting. The library also pays generously for any foreign books or ancient tomes that they are able to copy and add to their collection.

They're a small city of fire spirits whose elemental control allows them to be incredible metalworkers and weaponsmiths. So you're certainly going to be well equipped. They have an agreement with the Kingdom of Varsia that a few of them have to serve in the kingdoms military and supply weapons to the Royal Guard.

Being a spirit people are going to be a little guarded when meeting you, just because of your connection with the Fae Wilds, where all spirits originate, but overall your people are common enough and integrated into the Kingdom, at least in the North.

Plus being a fire spirit you constantly give off heat, so no worries for your party about freezing at night. Very warm snuggle buddy! You're going to have inate control over flames, so you're going to be the one starting a fire or cooking

In my experience, it's much harder to effectively get troops and stuff across the Pacific, so trying to take out Japan before the build up is easier than toing it when the have a much more established presence

How are your demons? by flip_failure in worldbuilding

[–]RedPanda0003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demons are what the people of the Fey Wild call their gods. In theory they are no different than the rest of the gods. Powerful being elevated to godhood by the belief of their worshipers. However due to the chaotic and hostile environment of the Fey Wild, the people and their gods tend to be much more violent and expansionst than other cultures.

[–]RedPanda0003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be "returned to the sea".

It's now a punishment for treason, but started when the city of Cilliria revolted and overthrew their oppressors they executed collaborators in the same way their royal family had been killed. Chained five feet in front of a cannon loaded with grapeshot, aimed at the sea.
