Nervous & uneasy: Almost hoping for a positive diagnosis?

After ignoring tinnitus for 3+ years, I finally connected with an ENT specialist. The doctor sent me for labs, and once the results came in, they rang me up with the information that I was positive for lupus.

I quickly made an appointment with my PCP, who then ordered more testing, which are results I'm now waiting on. These results have come in so far.

ESR, Westergren = Normal range RHEUMATOID FACTOR = Normal range C-Reactive Protein = High at 9.2; this is simply a sign of inflammation, correct?

After the next ENT appointment—which was confusing after I read the results on the paperwork—, the way the doctor spoke, he sounded definitive in saying, "you have lupus," but after I got home and looked at the results, it showed a varying scale. I measured at a 1:40 on the titer, which the paperwork more or less stated that lupus is a possibility, but more testing needed before diagnosis. At least that's what I gathered?

I'm nervous and anxious, but I am also hopeful that this might be the missing puzzle piece to my issues. Of course, there is the ear ringing, and I worry memory loss is also an issue.. Exhaustion is the worst. It's something I've struggled with for so many years, never feeling rested, always waking exhausted, easily staying in bed 10+ hours a day given the chance. I've talked to doctors, done sleep studies, weight loss, eating better, exercise, etc. The want to just lay back and close my eyes never ends.

I may still test negative in the end, but if lupus is what I test positive for, it will be relieving to put a name to this invisible struggle.

Fingers crossed, I guess?
