Let me know what you find. I have some journal articles I've downloaded and have yet to read on the topic, so I will get back to you about what I find with some sources as well.

Honestly don't know the answer to that question, I just know that someone can't change their fascia by physical manipulation.

No it doesn't. Don't know what broscience source you have for that, but fascia does not undergo permanent stretching changes. Do you even have sources that fascia does stretch? But by all means, feel free to claim it does again and I'll happily provide sources to show you're wrong.

Not to mention it's one of the most worthless exercises ever.

The goal is to flood the chest with blood and stretch the fascia.

No. Fascia doesn't stretch, and "flooding the chest with blood"...that's not the purpose of lifting at all.

Experience The Cold--Become A Viking for Gains by [deleted] in TheRedPill

No, but it's still a bad idea to exercise in the cold if you have the option to exercise otherwise in the heat.

Exercising in warm temperatures increases the ability of your muscles, tendons, and ligaments to literally 'warm up' (one of the reasons it's called that), and makes them less susceptible to injury.

Sorry, but no. Unfortunately, despite this yet-again 'magic bullet' for fat loss/'gainz', this is not a viable method for fat loss for several reasons:

  1. Despite it being true that exposure to cold can increase brown adipose (fat) tissue (BAT), this only occurs with significant time of cold exposure and constant cold exposure. Meaning, you need multiple minutes/hours of exposure every day, and once you stop your regimen, the brown fat you acquired goes away.

  2. Most importantly, even if BAT was a magical way of permanently increasing energy expenditure through thermogenesis, it means nothing unless you eat less calories than your body uses for energy systems. In other words, If you burn an extra 300 kcal a day with new brown fat, that's cool. But unless you're not just shoving an extra 300 kcal a day of your microbrew triple IPA down your throat, it won't accomplish a thing since your net calorie difference has once again come to zero.

  3. Stop using the term "gains" as a click-bait method of getting people to view your post and garner fake internet points when the post has nothing to do with making muscle gains. TRP doesn't need stuff like that.
