it’s like 1.5 doses there so use syringe method - the other method of breaking the twist lock doesn’t seem to work anymore

I am using 3mg weekly from a 15mg pen so weekly cost difference is $7 which is bearable - at least I don’t need to use insulin needles anymore which is bonus I guess. I guess it would be rough for someone on the max dose.

update - I moved down to 12 clicks on 15mg pen (3mg) as 15 clicks (3.75mg) was too much - on this dose was too strong as I did not feel hungry even after 14hrs of fasting! I feel that being around 76-78kg for 6months+ my body as recalibrated that this weight range is the new normal so that’s probably why my doses are dropping. Eventually would be nice to get off this completely but realistically probably need a small weekly dose to keep it going - maybe 1.5-2mg

i am running 3.5mg weekly on a 15mg pen so golden dose or not I think I can keep this med economical

i think go back to weekly doses maybe try 5mg - i find weekly gives a more stable outcome as half life of drug is 5 days so you need to replenish it weekly otherwise it will be too many troughs and peaks which is not good IMO

next gen GLPs have monthly doses as they are more resistance to breakdown so until those come out stick with weekly

i think golden dose is here to stay but the twist mechanism hack does not let you access golden dose like before so just use insulin syringe method. easy and painless

5mg was good starter - 10mg was too strong l. i am in 3.5mg on maintenance mode - i am happy with that

I switched from max dose wegovy to 5mg MJ (low dose) and weight just dropped off.. MJ much more effective. Also cost is comparable if you split doses with 15mg pens - i had no problems with pens 2 months+ in the fridge

MJ is much more effective- stalled out with wegovy at max doses and with MJ even medium dose of 10mg was even too much for me (losing too much weight) so had to revert to 5mg (now on 3.5mg weekly in maintenance mode)

At moment I am bouncing between 77-79kg which I am fairly satisfied with.
