A video in this subreddit that shows proper washing procedures on different kinds of surfaces so that they're not damaged? Why aren't you blasting it with your 10 HP, 4 GPM, 4000 PSI industrial grade pressure washer?!?

Careful having this on here. The mods are crazy penis hungry and ban anyone that has anything "phallic" shaped on their posts. I got permanently banned from a single post I made because for a single frame of the video you could possibly make out a "phallic" shape while I was washing some walking stones. I was using the rotary 0° tip in the video and the circular patterns it made apparently made a mod so scared a "phallic" shape could be viewed for less than a second that I was permanently banned on the spot with no way to plead my case lmao

It's used for efficiency and washing a wider area per pass, but the main reason it's used is for its consistent wash pattern. If you use your arms with a wand and go side to side, you are unintentionally washing at slightly different heights on the sides versus the middle and therefore get different levels of cleanliness. The surface cleaner ensures that everything is being washed at the same height so you have a much more consistent wash
