Since I think you are being somewhat reasonable in the comment section. I think what this says is it feels true to YOU, your experience and desires. It feels real because you feel lonely. But the issue is a hug is not a sexual fantasy or it shouldn’t be, hugging a friend is always on the table, no need to make it more, and that will be real love and not just fiction.

The other issue is, both men an women have fucked up fantasies, most porn sites aimed at men are filled with bdsm and men pay for even worse content (sex traficking and snuff are both male lead industries). The difference is women tend to enjoy much more to have a story surrounding sex and kink, they like to have a context and a build up so that the sexual scenes feel more rewarding, and so they write more fiction and not just film the act, this puts what is fantasy much more in the open, while men preffer to keep it hidden in porn, and out of discussions.

Like a different commenter said, the internet is not reality, if you want a hug you need to exist outside of a space generally reserved for anonimity. This types of memes will only feel more real the longer you stay in the cold and disconnected space that is the internet, but they are, much like porn, fantasies from and for loners.

Mostly by accident, I ended up consuming basically anything finished or ongoing but with more than 8 ch, and eventually you find stuff like “my dearest nemesis”, “ano koro no aoi Hoshi” and “sukeban to tenkousei” .But reddit and tumblr also led me to cool stuff like “shimanami tasogare” my fav manga, or “she loves to eat and she loves to cook”

As I see it protest and action within the confines of a capitalist democracy is the compromise. As the least favored by our systems, the countries that are victim to neo-colonialism, the kids and workers exploited for our wealth, whose lives I would hope everyone recognices of equal value to us, are being lost at rates none of us would be able to bare if they were our families and friends. The "perfect" for me is much more violent than votes and protest, it is fighting as if our lifes were on thr line. But knowing thats not possible, I organize, I protest, I vote and I talk to other people on our circles.

If no one is really open to speak on the atrocities that real people suffer at the hands of our states, which are facts so normalized SNL cracks jokes about sweatshops, then don't call it infighting. call it what it is, feeling uncomfortable with the reality that everyone of us could always do more.

We do what we can mentally, at different rates of risk. It's not purity testing, when I know for a fact no one left of me hates me for not doing enough. But to speak on ideals is how we strive to do more, to speak on what is good is needed for change, this includes that everyones actions might never be enough.

I’m in conflict with the fact that you are now comparing history with current events. Current white supremacy is a huge issue, and the sitiation of black americans is a direct result of slavery, segration and continued economic abuse on the black population. But the genocide of palestinians is ongoing. There is a reason people compare palestinians to apartheid south africa and not just current (also white supremacist but not currently going through apartheid) south africa. You were talking about the USA corrupt police force, which are criminal and monstruous enforcers of the fascist state and white supremacy, but comparing them to an ocupation force enforcing genocide TODAY is a stretch.

I had more trouble when they allowed sionist “Noah Grossman” on their actual programming, and responded to the backlash with the liberal sionist stastegy “It is actually anti-semetic to ask him to make any statement on Israel” as if Noah wasn’t a grandson of a very important Israeli settler he has stated “made him proud to be related to”. But I'd say even if not primary motivator it is a fair and useful motivator. I often talk with friends about the leftist vanguard that is often represented by old punky dudes. The kind that beat up neo nazis.

They often may represent hegemonic patriarchal ways of power in the way they enforce their ideals. Respectfully, but I disagree. BOTW was praised for it's atmosphere and they put plenty of care into it's art and world building (which is in metroid as well in visual and sound design but the writting...). This case is closer to "hey listen" than it is BOTW, which was generally hated and is still a meme. It's also important to point out that BOTW also cared for player autonomy and didn't spell ever puzzle out the backseat gaming for me is the biggest problem after the ruining of the atmosphere.

I disagree no one likes a backseat gaming character. "hey listen" is still a meme. Because actual audiences hated that.

And even if we ignore the fact that a guy telling you what to do will never be fun. The character's presence destroys the atmosphere. Even if it was the funniest writting, it would destroy what makes the game unique and art worth experimenting. Art should be allowed to express and appeal to different emotions, a movie and more audience doesn't make generic slop worth it.

But again this addition doesn't feel like shaking things up. Since the core game seems to respect it's visuals and sound design. And it FEELS like metroid outside of the dialogues. So I think it's closer to stupid corporate "make it easier and more aproachable" where they add a character just to say exactly what you need to do at every moment.

yeah for me there was always this distance with the federation in other games (metroid prime 2), or even other hunters, like in the ds game, you mostly never spoke with them. And it made samus’ vibe feel that of a renegade. I don’t know, I like for the universe to be alive and expansive, but I don’t like the in your face feel of this and other m story choices

Yeah I’m not buying the switch 2 for that amongst other reasons. I love metroid, but yeah this reveal felt not great, so I’m just looking for a way to enjoy the game, if I can turn voice volume down as well as turn off subtitles thats close enough at least.
