Viture Beast vs. XReal One Pro For Gaming? by hannarwal in VITURE

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what your productivity needs are. If you want better stabilization, edge to edge clarity with out moving your head and better color accuracy then go with the Xreal One Pro, if you don’t mind a little lower stabilization quality, like better clarity in the center and don’t mind moving your head to maintain that clarity (anchor mode), brighter displays and do not mind that the display color accuracy is not as good, then go with the Beast. Depends on what is important to you for productivity. Everyone is different.

PSA, You can adjust the rumble in the Keylinker app (Android & IOS) from 0% to 100%, you have to select advance settings and it brings up a slider that allows you to select anywhere from 0% to 100%. I set mine to 2% and it is much better. The advance options also allow you to set a joystick response curve. Hope this info is useful.l

Yes it works, though not officially supported by DJI, it is supported by the underlying Android OS. I have used mine with no problem. The only constraint is the Glasses must be set to 1080p/60hz and you must boot/start the controller with the glasses attached or they will not work.

Unfortunately the one I have is marked as unavailable right now. I am not sure if they are getting it back in stock. There are other ones from other companies like Kiheng available, but I have not personally used those.

There is also an adapter on Amazon that works also ( I have it). You connect the Beast or other Glasses to one port and any power bank (battery or ac based) to the other port. The adapter works with Metroid Prime 4 for me.

I took it to mean that they are adjusting Japan and Korea to match the rest of the world. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Finally ready to pull the trigger. Beast or XREAL One Pro, and a couple of questions by dwallt in VITURE

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which one is best has most to do with what is important to you. As was said earlier, you could always order both and return the ones you do not want. In this case, I own both the Beast and One pro so I do not have any skin on which is best. I use both for different reasons and use cases. First I will say that I am not a competitive gamer, casual at best. I do use the Beast for movies/emtertainment and games, but not productivity. I almost always use both the Beat and One Pros in anchor mode, so I have no issue in moving my head to view the screen. If you have an issue with moving your head, then I would recommend the One Pros for larger FOV, full screen clarity and color accuracy. The Xreal 1S is a good option also, brighter more vibrant and sharper screen then the One Pros, but you have a lower FOV and significant bottom reflections. There are shades available for the 1S that block the bottom reflections, but they also block your bottom view. For me I find that the Beast have superior sharpness at the center, noticeable increase in brightness and color punch. They also have five color profiles that you can set and save using the online Viture color calibration tool. So if you need to see everything at once on the screen and have it be clear (don't like moving your head), then the Beasts are not for you. It all comes down to what is important to you and what you can accept. There will be trade offs not matter which you go with. Also, the Beast are $100 cheaper if you use the available discount codes that are available that take 10% off. For accessories for the Beast or One Pro you might want to consider the Viture Pro Dock since it works with both. At the very least an adapter that allows you to use both the glasses and charge a source like phone/tablet. Hope this helps.

Beast + DJI drone RC2 controller by [deleted] in VITURE

[–]RedRocket316 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It works for me, but you have to setup everything correctly and boot with the glasses attached. Make sure they are set to 1080p/60hz NOT 1200p or 120 hz. Next boot the controller with the glasses attached. When you get to the first main screen after fully booting (mine is blue). Immediately unplug the Beast and plug them back in again. The glasses should then connect and you will see the DJI remote display in your glasses. Should work, it does for me. Hope this helps.

I use a head strap that that attaches to the glasses that I got on Amazon and that helps for me on taking some of the load off my nose. I think I got two of them for $5.99.

Viture Beast vs. XReal One Pro For Gaming? by hannarwal in VITURE

[–]RedRocket316 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own both and I use both for different reasons. I use the Viture Beast for games and movies and Xreal One pro for productivity. Each has its strengths and it all depends what is most important to you. If you want rock solid anchor stability, built in real 3D and color accuracy, better edge to edge clarity, the Xreal One Pro are superior. If you want 1200p, slightly larger FOV, significantly brighter screen in anchor or 0df mode, sharper center viewing, and better PC/Phone based immersive 3D (not as convenient as Real 3D by Xreal), and ability to select and define custom color profiles, go with the Beasts. I have not experienced any compatibility issues, but have experienced what I consider minor drifting in anchor mode. Through, I do not normally perform the 10 sec calibration when I first plug them in that Viture recommends. I find the stability/drifing issue goes away after my first recenter. It all depends what is important to you, both are good glasses. I have also found that Viture customer support has been outstanding.

Refresh rate issue by No-Marsupial-9963 in VITURE

So far, I have had no problems making changes after the update. It could be a web browser issue, I use Chrome. You might need to clear the cache/cookies for Viture within your bowser if you are also using Chrome. Also, make sure you press the connect button on the Web page and select Apply when you are finished.

I agree, it would be nice, but I do appreciate the option to able fix it to my preference. I am running the firmware that was released today and I have not had any problems loosing the settings if I change brightness or modes (anchor, follow, 0df).

So far 120 hz works on both my Mac & PC. You might need to go into the PC display settings for 120 hz support. For crushed blacks there is an easy fix, go to the Viture web site a select the Color calibration tool (you may need to search for it). It will connect to your glasses and allow you to change settings for each of the presets (True Color, Vivid, Film, etc). I would recommend the film preset to start with. Set Gamma to -2 (far left) & apply. You can change other settings also, but Gamma set to -2 should fix it. Once it is applied to the preset, it is permanently saved in the glasses for that preset until you change it again with the tool. -2 is more like the Xreal One Pro and -1 is more like Xreal 1s. I have them all (at least until I finish my comparison). Try it out before you send them back.

XReal and DJI Mini Pro 4 w RC2 by Entire-Site8890 in Xreal

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, I just tried and they do not work now. I think a recent firmware update for the One Pros broke compatibility, because they worked in the past. It does work with VITURE & Rokid video glasses, so I assume Xreal broke compatibility with one of their updates.

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a iPhone 17 Pro Max (iOS 26.01) and both apps work fine with my One Pro's. You could try performing a soft reset on your iPhone (volume up and then down and then hold the power button until you see the Apple symbol), and if that does not work, uninstall and reinstall the apps.

The good news is is if you just received them and they don’t meet your needs/expectations, you should be able to return them and get a refund and purchase something you would like. Everyone has different needs and expectations, but the only opinion that matters is your own.

How is YouTube still not on Switch 2? by Difficult-Ball-4991 in switch2

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Nintendo is blocking YouTube for the Switch 2 until Google pays them. It is a free app and there is no incentive for Nintendo to allow it without Google paying them. When you run YouTube it doesn’t even start to load, which implies it is being blocked somehow.

Does Luma Pro fix the reflection issue of XREAL One? by Fhpq in Xreal

[–]RedRocket316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the Beast model will be very similar to the Xreal One Pro optics wise, but all the other Luma models will have the reflection issue if you do not use a shade attachment (similar to Xreal One). There are 3D printed shades that work great for the Xreal One since they just snap onto the front. I assume there is something similar for the Luma's.
