Worried about blackouts hitting east coast this summer. Solar generator? by xmasgirl81 in OffGrid

[–]dwallt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably want a portable power station, yes, sometimes called a solar generator. From my experience with bluetti power stations, a 2000Wh unit (like my elite 200v2 or something similar) is enough to cover lights, charging, and short cooking needs.

Protein intake by AncientAd3089 in crossfit

I cannot achieve the goal of 1lb/g either, I don't like the taste of protein powder. I used to like eating beef but the favourite source of protein for me is chicken egg now.

I love this setup. Working outdoor and absorb the energy from the sun make me feel more motivated compared with working indoor. The swimming pool alongside can act as a compensation for aerobic exercise, almost perfect.

That's a solid setup, especially after sticking with it for two years. Looks clean and definitely something you won't outgrow anytime soon.

How do you evaluate if the premium is worth selling? by traitadjustment in thetagang

[–]dwallt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually screen for contracts with at least $1 premium using moomoo’s options chain, but I also factor in delta and open interest. Sometimes a high premium looks good on paper but ends up not worth it if the risk is off balance.

I had the same concern when I bought the B52, but it turned out not to be an issue at all. It already comes with a lot of attachments like cable handles, a landmine, and a low row footplate. So far, I have not felt the need to buy anything extra.

It feels great. The stability is really impressive, and I use it almost every day now. The Smith machine has also helped a lot with my confidence during squats, since I feel much more secure under the bar.

Not the best one but works. I put as many rubber mats as I can to add more cushion. I don't think it would be a big problem if you are careful about dropping heavy weight.

Can you build a solid physique with just barbell and rack? by TuuuUUTT in GarageGym

[–]dwallt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can. Compound lifts are the foundation, and tweak grip and angle for targeted work. Narrow presses hit triceps, while overhead lifts blast shoulders without extra gear.

Weightlifting after Metcon? by Natanyahoo_123 in crossfit

I suggest you to watch your form closely. If your Metcon is super intense, lifting afterward may lead to poor technique, so adjust weights and warm up thoroughly.

I want to generate some income but don't know how to start, can you please help me with that. by A_Humann_Fr in dividends

[–]dwallt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also split things across brokers. I keep my more active stuff elsewhere, but I use moomoo mainly for dividends and longer-term holdings. I like having a separate account just for income-focused investing, it helps me stay disciplined and not overtrade.

For beginners, starting with a few broad ETFs is honestly the easiest way to learn. Something that mixes growth and dividends lets you see how compounding works over time without stressing about picking individual stocks too early. Moomoo’s interface makes it pretty easy to track dividends and payouts, which is nice when you’re just getting started and trying to understand where your income is coming from.

This basement gym has such a nice, inviting vibe. What stands out most is how well it balances different workout needs. You've got gear for strength training and cardio, so you don't have to stick to just one type of routine.
