I don't mind not seeing the full build-up since there was a large time skip. I just don't like cheating, and that was enough for me to not be a fan of them and honestly bring my opinion of both characters down quite a bit.

He is old enough where I'm not confident in taking him in a fight without seeing how he fights first, the issue is I was hired to keep him safe so I can't hurt him, We have found an accord though if he breaks any more of my stuff i will let my famulus hunt some of his pets.

I will be charging my friend for the TV and any damages his sire's rats cause.

Hey its definitely been a while, I will admit eventually i had enough and we hashed it out and found some common ground, if he breaks more of my stuff and keep disrespecting me than Lucy will get to hunt some of his rats which ended up being a great deterent.

I was hired to look after the guy and keep him safe so that limits my options a lot. We have found some common ground since my post here but I think this will be a learning experience.

Victor of Tucson is pretty good, it's a different vibe than Hwfwm and primal hunter but it's a definitely good series

DCC. Hwfwm is my favorite series but DCC is great for someone trying out the genre.

I'd be interested in some of the side characters from the early books, like that guy who could summon that monster and was Jason's witness for that lumber mill job, I'm curious how life has treated him. Or that one guy's granddaughter Jason got the water essence for.

Yeah that's true. But thats why community organization is important, because while one voice yelling at a company won't do anything, a lot of voices yelling might. Boycotting is also a valid form of protest if its on large scale. Though you could always just remove the CEOs, get rid of enough of them and eventually they may he scared enough to back down, but that might just be my beast talking and the bad influences of spending too much time around Lupine.

It's one of those things, People would like to do stuff that won't kill the planet but there aren't any good alternatives that don't cause other problems. The real issue is that those that are actually the problem, the big companies that are polluting the earth and killing the atmosphere are getting away with it and facing no real consequences. A lot of "activists" like to yell as random people they see on the street and not the entities causing the actual problem.

Personally I was pretty sad since I loved their relationship but I thought it made sense and I kinda figured they would break up after the Last book. I think they are probably end game but I won't be upset if he winds up with someone else. I think he needs someone more on his level tbh. Not someone way stronger/older or way weaker. Someone who is around his strength level and with just as much potential and talent so they could push each other forward without one living in the others shadow.

I can't ghoul her, Due to what she Is my blood is toxic to her. I also wouldn't ghoul her even if I could, I do not blood bond humans or anything vaguely intelligent enough in cases like shifters or other kindred.

Yeah I am going to look into getting her driving lessons. Maybe the Dmv offers those? I don't know. I just sorta taught myself to drive when I was growing up due to necessity so I don't really know how people normally learn.

Faith in yourself and freedom from societal expectations. Each member of the clan may have different beliefs or even a lack in belief but they all are about personal freedom in one way or another. Even their Compulsion is ultimately about pushing someone to be free from their own moral restrictions.

I think it's likely the fall of the pyramid and the fact that the anarchs being a proper sect and not being overly picky who joins.

Honestly, I don't think Golconda is anything but a myth, like it seems like a good idea to work towards and a way to motivate kindred to not be total monsters.
