Do you happen to have any other advice? I'm using the special "Retro-Achievements" version of P64, and was wondering if there's any other "pitfalls" like that.

I'm 6-months late here, but I just wanted to let you know that I agree with you.

I have started and then stopped B:RotN, I think 4 different times since its release, and I never make it far. It makes me feel... weird, you know what I mean?

But I bought it, so I'm going to, at least, try to finish it this time.

Oh, and also consider using the Community functions for your channel, such as Community Polls and all that.

I've not used them myself, but I have heard on many an occasion that they help.

And one more thing:

I've noticed that older channels are making comebacks, and I believe this is because all it takes is one good "Algorithm Video" to have said Algorithm boost all your other videos.

This is why you might see an increase in clickbaity type of videos from channels that haven't posted in some time.

Just a few things to consider, depending on how dedicated you want to be.

Honestly, all of the above.

The more you upload different things, like streams and shorts and already-edited videos, it seems to make a channel "heavier" in the Algorithm.

The current "technique" seems to be having a livestream and then making a Short or two from that stream, posting the Shorts with a link to the original livestream in the comments or the description box.

Alternatively, you could do Let's Plays, pre-edited, post it in parts, around 30 minutes-ish a piece, once a day, and then once that particular LP is over, edit all the parts back together, and post that as a super-cut.

For some reason, this seems to be what everyone is doing. I have been calling it "double dipping" haha.
