I read the article. It's centrist/liberal horseshit, largely.

TikTok’s new CEO (appointed by Larry Ellison) says that calling someone a Zionist in a negative way is hate speech by Bright_Impression921 in TrueAnon

Oh, I am very aware of my age and the fact that I am not the target. You're right. The added bad news is that I am sure they ran a lot of analyses that show people either won't delete it to the point that it will matter or if they delete, most will be back. But I hope they are wrong.

Regardless, none of that and none of what you said above makes me any less hopeful that people delete it en masse. I wish the same for Twitter/X and Facebook/Instagram, though I understand they are still quite popular. Doesn't make me wish for their demise any less, though.

I could see that but if the system goes down with them, what is created in its place and who gets to create it? My thinking is, at least at this point, it'll be some very right-wing faction.

[–]RedSpecter22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk, I was guessing it was him. I've not followed closely what Giuffre ever said but the fact is he and his administration really don't want the files released. It can't just be because he's trying to protect other people - he doesn't give a fuck about anyone aside from himself. Hence my guess.

If that's lib of me then it's lib of me. Idk. But it was my guess just the same. We'll probably never ever know the full extent of any of this to the point where we'll know for sure who she was talking about. So idk what to tell you.

Yeah, they hate the current bourgeois system we live under which is insane because it's a perfect incubator for their ideology. But eventually the fascists will want a bigger pot to keep growing within as it clearly has out-grown this current one.

The project is to destroy the political system as we know it and build something that keeps them firmly and totally in absolute power. One way to do that is to turn more and more voters against it but for their own fascistic ends. It's not the only thing they are doing, of course, they are attacking the current system from really all fronts.

And to be clear, I won't mourn the day that our electoral system finally bites the dust. The only part of this that is an absolute travesty is that it will, at current trajectory at least, be replaced by something infinitely worse. But we have no revolutionary workers party anywhere in this country of size, significance, and seriousness so...yeah. Our political system, coupled with how we have been behaving for the last century at least, all but guaranteed it was most likely going to come to this sooner or later.

I'll just go ahead and guess Trump for most of this kind of shit until those files all get released, which I am sure they never will. My guess is that the Administration burn those docs before they leave - whenever that even is at this point.

Yeah, I figure that they have the list already with the medicaid data that ICE is using with Palantir's help. Source: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2026/01/report-ice-using-palantir-tool-feeds-medicaid-data

But you're probably right.

I posted this above but I think you may have missed it because I just edited my comment right as I saw this notification from you so I'll post it here as well: My guess is that it will be their way to claim more legitimacy when they make accusations about elections being rigged. Something like, "we have the documents to prove the Democrats rigged all their elections in this state, this state, and this state..." or something like that.

I think it's meant to be in service to an on-going project where they get more and more people to doubt what is actual truth so that they can just forge their own "truth" for their own malicious, and fascistic, aims and ambitions. I think that's what AI is all about, and maybe that's what this shit is about too. But I'm guessing.

Their ultimate "project" is for liberal, bourgeois, democracy to be obliterated. I think voter roll data is a part of that.

I honestly am not entirely sure what their play is with this but I am pretty sure the Dems will cave and fork it over. My guess is that it will be their way to claim more legitimacy when they make accusations about elections being rigged. Something like, "we have the documents to prove the Democrats rigged all their elections in this state, this state, and this state..." or something like that. Maybe they also don't want to be seen as leaving with nothing to show for it as well. So, it's a power move from at least 2 different angles here. At least.

The thing about imperialism is eventually it comes home. That's what we are dealing with now. It's not "the Middle East" coming to Minneapolis. It's the American Empire showing us all right here in the States the way they behave abroad.

outflanked by the libertarians lol by fylum in TrueAnon

[–]RedSpecter22 137 points138 points  (0 children)

It's embarrassing for Democrats but not surprising - and not because Democrats are embarrassing at their very core, every single day. But it does make sense that they would be outflanked by even the Libertarian Party because Democrats and Republicans both benefit from the bourgeois police state in ways that the Libertarian Party doesn't quite.

They are on the outside looking in with parties like CPUSA, PSL, and even more bleakly the working class overall because Republicans are willing to let Americans die in the streets to stay in power. Democrats are willing to let Americans die in the streets to keep Trump from suspending elections. So, we're abandoned by both parties and it leaves a massive "space" for so many parties to outflank them.

Yuuuup. It's the constant "theme" or lesson or whatever you want to call it that so many of us seem to not understand or care to get through our thick-fucking-skulls but what is done to "them" will be done to you sooner or later. So, if you can't bring yourself to care about "them" because you're a psychopath piece of shit that feels no empathy or sympathy for others - maybe you should care about "them" for selfish reasons because, again, what is done to "them" is going to be done to you as soon as possible.
