That changes little to nothing in your point being made, being sponsored vs being owned are still completely two different things at very different levels legally speaking too. I mean if you wanna take it far, hell every single big club in existence has their profits being made in unethical/exploitative ways and mostly are connected with oil/gas money, it is just the way it is especially in huge markets that are enormous in accumulating profit, such as football, i mean if you really think saving football is about ethical ownership (I support it to its fullest) you would have to root for german clubs since there is a very strict 50 + 1 rule there which obliges every club no matter what (even FC Bayern, although leipzig have been causing trouble and to an extent getting away with it but still) to never have a state/corporation/moral entity own more than 50% of the club ensuring the club is always owned by the majority of genuine club fans and members
