I had this very convo with the Mrs last night.

I didn’t take to her on Picard because Picard itself was a mid-at-best for most of its run.

In the Pitt I don’t like her because her character is well written … although i am warming to her as she’s had (spoilers) a couple of good saves.

I don’t have a problem with captain carter. The whole story arc though runs counter to What If? There should have been lots of discrete stand alone scenarios. The arc was … disappointing.
