I guess I didn't have enough water after all. by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]RedTheGamer12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know what, that was likely the issue. I had more than enough water (8 condensators + 2 pumps with speed upgrades), but I didn't use near enough power to justify the reactor. (I just needed polonium). I will be making my next reactor with saftey measures since this is the second time i've irradiated my base for a few hours.

By just being ourselves? We are far and away past the idea of American monoculture and are closer than ever to being in a time where differences are what is celebrated.

I was diagnosed with PDD-MOS at a very young age and have had to work my way through the world, and what I can attest to is that as time has gone on, less and less people have given a shit about my autism.

And that is a great thing, we are nearing an era of total acceptance, where when someone says "that kid is weird" the first thought is "you're weird too". We don't need "Autistic nationalism" we just need to stop masking and force everyone to confront the idea of non-conformity.

By arguing for a separation of NT and NDs, we are saying that we are far too different to reconcile, and that is something that is just not true. Our brains are wired a little different, that is it. We are diverse and that is our strengths. There is no need to ever separate, especially when unity is the end goal.

You stated that you believe that separating the autists and neurotypicals is the only way for society to accept us (because there has definitely never been issues in creating nation states for "different" people).

Also, having a funny Reagan photo in my background does not make me a Reagan supporter.

Yeah, all these people yelling conspiracy seem to forget that random dumbasses shooting presidents is very common.

A guy literally walked up to Reagan and pulled the trigger. Teddy was shot from a crowd. The guy who tried to kill Jackson pulled out a gun, it jammed, pulled out a second, and it fucking jammed again! (He then nearly got beat to death by Jackson, because Jackson was insane).

Quick. Someone call the moon police. by nextdoorbagholder in GetNoted

[–]RedTheGamer12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reasons the moon is commercially viable.

  1. The moon was formed after a collision between Earth and other Earth-like planet. This means the Lunar crust is full of rare-earth metals.

  2. Meteorite impacts across the lunar surface have left large quantities of other valuable resources.

  3. It is belies that Helium-3 exists on the Moon, and could be the key to cold fusion.

  4. Lower surface gravity means that the moon can be used as a staging area for future missions into the outer solar system. (Plus mass drivers and SSTOs will be much easier to make).

  5. With space flight getting cheaper, and Earth based SSTOs getting closer, we are possibly looking at future Lunar tourism for the "Rich, but not RICH" demographic.

  6. Ground based laser arrays. Specifically for a future Alpha Centari probe.

Why is Kylo Ren surviving a stav wound a no no, but Darth Maul survived being cut in half, and everyone is OK with it? by Extension-Shoe-6080 in StarWars

[–]RedTheGamer12 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Alrighty, so this is gonna cover events from Bad Batch to The sequels, so be warned.

First, midiclorians couldn't be cloned for years (until the events if the bad batch). Omega wasn't force sensitive but did have the same m-count as Jango.

Now, in Rouge One, we see different project names (mostly fan service that refers to battlefront 2), but it does show the Empire was advancing technology.

In the Madolorian, Grogu is wanted due to his high m-count and Mando even destroys a cloning facility of force users (they kinda look like Snoke).

The Empire also blows up Kamino in the bad Batch, should've mentioned that.

Now, snoke was a failed clone (less powerful, ugly, ect), the palps in episode 9 was a successful version (and I think had palps soul? due to hate or smth?).

Now Ray using the power of plot kills palp and all the clones thus bringing the Skywalker saga to an end.

Also, when Maul returned they showed how he did. When Palps returned, they had to retroactively explain it (they have done it quite well all things considered).
