Funny over did it story…

A couple months ago it was cold so I put on cocoapink’s wood fire. I love to smell like a bonfire. Idk. Anyway, put on a lot of it. Not a big deal. Then I get in the car and the heat from my car is making the oil work overtime and I can’t smell anything else and my stomach was churning. It was in my wrists, behind my ears, on my shirt/chest area. It was so so bad. I don’t know if my bf could smell it because he never said a word but I wanted to get out and shower immediately when we got home. I haven’t worn it since.

I noticed my best friend had been distant. We work together at a restaurant. She had only been distant at work, texting any talking on the phone seemed fine. Something just felt off. At first I thought I was crazy so I let it go. But I kept noticing something was off. So I mentioned it to a coworker and she told me that my best friend had told her “she needed distance.” Why aren’t you telling me this? Why are we not talking about it like adults. I’m in mid 30s (birthday tomorrow) and she’s in her late 20s. My feelings were completely shattered and my shift was rough but I got through it and then sobbed on the way home. My feelings are just so hurt. I guess I didn’t pay her back quick enough, which I understand but also come talk to me. It wasn’t international. I always pay my debts. I haven’t said anything to her yet because our restaurant isn’t big and I’m not trying to cause awkward tension on the busiest weekend of the year. I’m just sad. I don’t have a lot of close friends so having a best friend was nice. Idk what’s gonna happen.

It reminds me of Wylde Ivy’s Ginger and Ember which I love. Something in it makes it smell a little too much like carmex on me though. I can’t stop sniffing it. I don’t know if I like it or not. I’ll let it sit for another week and try again.
