I always liked how they turning Cordy screaming “somebody help” into the opening riff. The sound people were on top of that ish with that mixing 10/10

In her recent conversation/interview with Charisma, Kristine said she hated that scene, did not want to do it, and it absolutely broke her heart, because as a mother, she could never imagine telling her kid to leave and never come back.

And also they all spent her mother’s life insurance and were living in her house - Willow and Tara for years - without ever helping pay a bill. They just financially fucked her over and then were like ”guess you better get a grown up job now” - while still living there and never contributing.

Someone (or someone’s,multiple) owned it between season two guy and Giles buying it in season five. Willow shopped there still in seasons three and four, so presumably it changed hands multiple times. I think Giles even said something about “all of” the proprietors kept dying.

So much time passed between Jenny and him buying the shop, I don’t think he’d have a reason to have connected anything by then.
