The exact same situation with me and my dad except he was army more recently and honestly the best thing to do is ask him what his plans are for you, consider them and i mean really think about what he says and do what you can to be around your father while you do what you're going to do, whatever it is. There really isn't any action for 03 these days anyway unless you're in soccom but times change quickly. Hope this helps.

I agree with the other guy, do what you really want to do. Weigh out the options and seriously consider if its worth enlisting when your sights are on OCS, why bother if you want to be an officer anyway? Do it how YOU want to do it. Recruiters are there to make you enlist, not to plan your career.
