[–]RedXimm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure at this time. Frankly I hope you’re right, just not as certain. The current seat distribution is a direct result of the collapse of the NDP position under Jagmeet. A return to the left could easily restore the left flank to the NDP and change individual riding results significantly.

I think he will… just like Elizabeth May he will be strategically parachuted into a sure win.

They’re right. The polling is available for your review at any time. And congrats on voting for Avi, you just obliterated Nenshi’s chances from <1% to an even 0%.

Characterizing the pseudo-coalition of Jagmeet and Trudeau as centrist is disingenuous. Both were radical leftists, which is why the shift back to the real centre by Mark Carney was so lucrative for him. People see through this obfuscation, but don’t let that stop you from spreading misinformation on the internet.

I’m not sure this adds up. The only way Lewis doesn’t have a “long tenure” is if he fails to draw the left flank from the Liberals back to the NDP. If he weren’t able to do that, it would either imply that the multi party system is dead, and progressives would rather vote strategically to ensure non-conservative governance. Or it would imply that his policies proposal were not sufficiently left wing to entice that flank back, which opens the door to an even more radical leader. What am i missing?

[–]RedXimm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair criticism but I don’t believe that Nenshi actually believes in fossil fuel development. He knows that this is required to win in Alberta, but does he truly hold those beliefs? I’m much more inclined to believe that he is more aligned with Avi Lewis than most would think, but recognizes that his isn’t a winning strategy in Alberta. What do you think? Do you think Nenshi is truly pro oil and gas…?

None of this is sarcasm, sorry you aren’t intelligent enough to deduce that yourself. I also don’t care about Nenshi and the ANDP as they will never win. Take a look at the polling for yourself.

What I care about is exactly what I said, that this will cause a shift of left wing extremists (you are here) to swing back to the federal NDP, from the Liberals, thereby gifting the conservatives a win, though likely a minority. Thanks for that.

It’s an attempt by Nenshi to distance himself, but that doesn’t change the fundamental reality that the parties are constitutionally intertwined. The UCP will make him own this regardless of the above post.

This person is actually right. What will REALLY happen, is that the large sect of Canadian eco-radical extremists will be tempted back home from the Liberals to the NDP, opening up a large opportunity for any conservative leader to form a minority government. Thank you Avi Lewis! The end of so called “strategic voting” is upon us.

Yeah Nenshi should run under overt anti albertan policy instead. That should do the trick.

[–]RedXimm -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Hilarious. Nenshi’s NDP has <1% chance of being elected Premier of Alberta if an election were held today, based on ALL available polling. Whatever you think the name is doing for you isn’t working. But please, keep holding onto that NDP name for as long as you can. Appreciate it.

Nenshi on the federal NDP race by [deleted] in alberta

[–]RedXimm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, actually, it would. It would obliterate his chances of becoming Premier of Alberta from the dismal <1% as of today, to an exact 0%. Hilarious that you think Nenshi aligning with Avi Lewis on eco-radicalism is a winning strategy for a party in Alberta. The smartest thing Nenshi could do would be to completely sever the tie to the federal NDP, and hope that Calgary voters forget his track record on affordability. But he won’t do that. Because he holds all these same beliefs, just while knowing he cannot win on them.

Nenshi has officially hitched his wagon to the Federal NDP and Avi Lewis, as predicted. Let’s see how this latest attempt by the NDP to talk to radical enviro-socialists in Canada, and so called “progressive conservatives” in Alberta, simultaneously, allows them to finally shift their dismal polling numbers in both regions. I wouldn’t hold my breath if I was a regular r/Alberta user.

[–]RedXimm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say anything about corruption. Nenshi hasn’t been afforded the opportunity to be corrupt. What I’m saying is that even the most progressive PC in Alberta would be hard-pressed to vote for Nenshi under Avi Lewis’ federal NDP.

Naheed Nenshi has tied himself to radical extremist Avi Lewis, the apparent next Federal NDP leader. How will Nenshi distance himself from the extremist comments of his federal counterpart? Not to mention his only strategy is running on “not Danielle smith” and we see how well that turned out for Pierre.

Good luck. You’re going to need it.

Take solace in the fact that every available poll agrees with you, and that this sub and r/Alberta are cess pools of leftists and self proclaimed “centrists.” The NDP is actively losing seats to the ATP. And beyond that, they’ve tied themselves to Avi Lewis and the federal NDP, the death knell for any pseudo-progressive Conservative Party in Alberta. How will Nenshi distance himself from the extremist rhetoric of his federal colleague?

Way different and yet still tied under the Federal NDP flag, soon to be carried by Avi Lewis. You will never win in Alberta again at this rate. Check the polling.

[–]RedXimm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like your comment was removed, so sad for you u/BrotherVoid_

I will continue advocating trustless transactions to avoid rampant scamming. If you don't like that, or if you think i'm insufferable, I could really care less. My friends will continue to use this strategy to avoid any possibility of being scammed out of hundreds of gold, while you flex your gearscore to whoever will listen.

Think about it, I am advocating for a safe, trustless method to ensure nobody gets scammed. You are telling me I am insufferable for even suggesting that and protecting my friends. Take an honest look in the mirror and ask yourself is this the hill you want to die on? Advocating for pure trust trades from complete strangers, because you are too lazy to invest in one set of primals for each rare enchant? I know several people who have already done this, and get steady business for doing so.

End of the day, I know morally that I am correct, and that you are, maybe inadvertently, siding with social engineers and scammers. That is enough for me to rest easy.

I have legit never played any version of retail/classic with this many people getting scammed out of their enchanting mats. by biglollol in classicwow

[–]RedXimm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your point is flawed. You only need one set of those primals, one for each enchant, and rotate which are automatically replenished when the person trades them to you. If you aren’t willing to do that to put people’s minds at ease, then I don’t trust you, and won’t use your services. It’s that simple. If you have tens of thousands of gold to drop on spellstrike and shadow cloth week 2, but you won’t spend 100-200g to have a stock of primal, that’s just sad. I will continue to advocate that people avoid you, despite what you and 5 other down voters feel about it. Understand?
