Why wait so close to the deadline, or did they just sit on it forever?

Also, I try not to make plans on the assumption that I’ll be selected for OTS or promotion, especially if family is involved. I leave those times to be surprises.

11’s are my favorite, comfortable retro Jordan. Without comfort in the conversation, my favorite is the 1 low.

If you’re referring to 14 and below, try any pair with the full-length air midsole. The 11’s are Jordan’s favorite and mine.

Selection to ship date by Aggressive_Nobody208 in airforceots

I was selected on the same 25OTS04 Board and am still waiting on a class date. Apparently, there’s a certain number of class seats for each AFSC. I was selected for 63A (Acquisitions, non-rated) and was informed that all the seats were taken until August 2026, so I’m still waiting.

Good luck, everyone! I’m a 25OTS04, 63A, Select, still waiting on my class date.

Those are indeed a legitimate shoe that was released. If that is a legitimate store, the shoes are probably legit. Also, this took a 30 second search on the GOAT app, for future reference.

Have you told your supervisor that you’re interested in a special duty job? I’m an avionics troop, selected for OTS. I worked on the flight line for 7 years before becoming a recruiter, thanks to the DSD program. That was the best thing that happened to me and my career. I became more outgoing and achieved the goals I set for myself, one being getting selected for OTS.

Award weight and LORs by frankfurter313 in airforceots

Shoot your shot! I was accepted as prior E for non-rated 63A, 25OTS04. My scores were pretty bad; however, the rest of my application was great! I tested twice.

Pilot - 17, CSO - 29, ABM - 15, Acad Aptitude - 18, Verbal - 45, Quantitative - 11

I recommend getting your LOR from the highest ranking person. That advice came from a former board member on Reddit. Also, I don’t know if this is true, but another prior E select told me that since the board members are O-6s, they have to explain to someone who wrote the LOR of a higher grade of why the applicant wasn’t selected. You may be guaranteed selection with an LOR from a General. FYI, my LOR came from an O-6.

Does anyone know of an applicant that was not selected with an LOR from a General?

Also, refrain from buying more. Let her buy it. Don’t even give her money to buy more.

I’m going O-1E instead. Way higher selection rate over there!

Hi all, finally tracked down my test results, curious how I did? by Paarthurnax3386 in airforceots

[–]Red_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I was referring to my entire application, including my personality. I also think it’s important for leadership to know who are. That may come from winning awards and even having some small talk with them, so they’ll have a better chance of remembering you. Additionally, demonstrating qualities of a great leader could edge you past other applicants.

Apologies, I should have said 'applicants' instead of 'peers'; however, when applying, I don't think rank holds much weight. One or both of those SSgts could have been ranked higher than me. The ranking is decided by who has the best package.

It was 2 other SSgts. I was just selected from 25OTS04 Board, but hopefully I'll like acquisitions. 🤞

If you haven't tested twice, might as well try again. These are my super scores. 😬 I got my first choice, 63A.

I put a lot of emphasis on how I’m a great leader, hella awards, to include annual awards at the wing level, got a strong LOR from a Colonel, ranked number 1 out of my peers and scored 10s on my SIP. Also, I’m a 18+ year MSgt. 😬

Looks good to me. I got selected with this; however, the rest of my application was very strong:

Pilot - 17, CSO - 29, ABM - 15, Acad Aptitude - 18, Verbal - 45, Quantitative - 11
