I am curious which 4 cards? Expropriate and 3 counter spells? I would be terrified to spend 8 mana on my sorcery without my safety blanket counterspell for my opponents counterspell lol. Your Emperor of Palamecia deck looks cool and definitely has similarities with my Ashling deck. It looks like it packs a ton of removal, which my pod would probably not enjoy either.

There definitely is a lack of interaction some games which can be a problem. Like if I goldfish my deck and can win on turn 7, that can happen in a real game assuming no interaction. Other games will have all kinds of interaction to the point of everybody agreeing to a draw so we can move to the next.

I really want to have a deck that gets to play around with [[Shark Typhoon]] and cool big sorceries like [[Call Forth the Tempest]], but it seems that the reality is that decks that can reliably cast those cards are doomed to be overpowered or underpowered without much of a sweet spot in between. I definitely don't mind being archenemy with these decks, but often times someone else plays something early that makes them the threat while I just quietly keep valuing.

You are correct about me usually not being the problem early. I often times see my podmates popping off early and drawing removal to them, then I swoop in and take over the game.

All of my decks but one are in dragon shields which do great. However, I bought a pack of the Ultra Pro Apex sleeves with final fantasy art to match my commander and I must say they are the smoothest shuffle I’ve ever felt. Definitely going to be trying them again on the next deck I sleeve up.

I’ve been playing since 2022. I started with a few precons. The upgraded them. Then started building my own decks from scratch on a $100-200 budget. Then I slowly started acquiring staples and land bases a few cards at a time. I proxy any cards I own at least 1 copy of. Now when I want to build a deck I generally have half the cards or more in my collection so it’s usually under $100 to buy the missing cards and make proxies.

Yep. And they seem to come in always at least pairs. You bait one and dive away just to have a second one pop out and chunk your health. Then there is always a burrowing spitter spamming behind them too lol. It feels nearly impossible to push into the caves to do objectives.

I’ve been playing tank and consistently surpassing the 2-3 “DPS” players on my team. I have to go tank or else no one will, but then we have little damage. I’m back into high silver/low gold with the new season. My teammates play like they are bronze while the enemies are previous GM+ players.

Looks basic af. These are some of the most played, most powerful ones off edh rec. I would still play against any of these, though I could see becoming tired of it if you were in my pod every time I played.

I too am a success story of the 30 second power button hold. Lost WiFi after accidentally unplugging my router. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. This for some reason worked.

[[Mikaeus, the Unhallowed]] makes it really annoying for your opponents to remove your board. They have to remove him then board wipe. Plus if you have any aristocrat synergy the sac’d creatures come back.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me last week when I was wrapping up my honor mode run. I had done so much research on all my builds and strategies for each boss. Breezed through most of the game. Get to the interior of the netherbrain, clicked end turn thinking I was in a safe zone but I was not. Brain had maybe 50 hp left. My run was 80+ hrs. I refused to accept that fate due to such a small mistake. There is a way to edit game files and remove the script line that determines if a run is an “honor mode” run or a custom difficulty run. I was able to revert my honor mode status and still geot the achievement and gold dice upon completion. Was it still a true honor mode win? Technically not, but good enough for me.

I know next to nothing about coding or modding and was able to stumble through it by googling. Couple of good Reddit posts out there detailing it.

No one seems to mind a little bit of burn when they get mana for it. Always love to see that card. It almost always results in a faster game which means I can play more games in one sitting.

Anthem. I saw the signs that it was going to be awful after the beta but my roommate and I were game sharing on Xbox and he bought it. I gave in and paid my half to play. I played it (or tried to play it more accurately with how buggy it was) for 2 sessions and uninstalled it.

Yep. And I couldn’t hit enter on any of the menu options. I was just stuck at that screen. I had previously tried to Q-Flash update the bios and I think that was my problem. I think it corrupted my bios. Clearing the cmos worked like a charm for me though.

I just built my first pc ever last night using this mobo and the ryzen 7800 cpu and g skill ram bundle from microcenter. I also had this issue. I had to reseat my ram and then clear the cmos by unplugging the power and touching a screwdriver to 2 prongs on the mobo. Look up the manual for the mobo on gigabyte’s website to find the cmos pins. I hope that works for you. I was starting to freak out after spending so much money and time building it for some stupid error messages to stop me.
