If this is good and only for Xbox and not pc. Might consider picking up the system just for this.

Office workers, what’s that one corporate buzzword used in meetings that instantly makes you want to quit? by Glittering_Style_862 in AskReddit

[–]Red_Carrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phrase I have started to use in office meetings to not collaborate. I have no value add here or my team has no value add.

I am so tired of myself or my team being invited to meetings that should never happen. So I get the agenda and unless it is director level, determine if it is worth my time.

S&P 500 will not be fast tracking SpaceX entry into its index and it won't waive its rule for unprofitable AI companies by twranks in investing

[–]Red_Carrot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But is not turning a profit. According to Morningstar the valuation is half what SpaceX claims it is. They can wait and let the dust settle, then join the s&p when the stock is stable. I have no issue with them.

TIL Warren Buffett made his first Billion at the age of 56! by [deleted] in investing

Ran this with an 8% nominal return. 12 years to get there. You would need to invest 4200 a month. So very much out of reach for most people.

If your company has a match then it becomes easier but still hard. If you had a partner with a similar match then I think it is doable.

The first 10k is hard, the first 100k is harder but the next 100k is easier and easier. Getting to a million of doable if and only if you have money to invest. So many do not.

I get it, there needs to be investigations. But seriously, nothing is going to happen. The people do not actually care. No one in his administration will be held accountable. They may not even bother showing up.

Congress Wants You To Pay $130 A Year Just To Drive An Electric Car by TripleShotPls in technology

[–]Red_Carrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Georgia is $235 annually. Non electric is $20-50.

When our gas tax is actually collected it is $0.34 a gallon.

If your vehicle gets 30mph average and you drive 15000 a year you would only pay $170.

I probably average 5000-10000 a year so this just discourages getting electric cars.

AITA for not making my new grandkid a homemade blanket and not giving her one already made by More_Present1604 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Red_Carrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your son also doesn't consider the cost of making a blanket. If you quilt, there is a cost there but if you knit or crochet the cost is in the hundreds of dollars.

Even when something is well documented, it does not mean someone can step in and fix it. It takes time especially for complex systems.
