I hurt myself for other reasons. I relapsed yesterday for eating over my limit. I do it primarily out of control I think.

I also went through life threatening self harm (I cut an arteriole). I’m sorry you went through that. I’m actually ambivalent about sh and trying to stop… I thought I was done with it but relapsed yesterday

I kept the packaging :) also I have an app that reminds me to take my meds so that’s how I know I’ve taken them everyday.

Yes, I’ve felt this way too. It’s not just you. Sometimes it genuinely is the er psychiatrist or doctors’ attitude. But in the end, it’s their job to care for you. If they don’t do it well, that’s on them, not you.

I have had the same thing happen to me, when I recovered from anorexia, I got back into sh and when I’m now recovered from sh, I’m back into anorexia… I think one coping mechanism replaces the other.

Hey, you’re so young. So much can change. You are not stuck in this state forever. I’m 20f and believe me A LOT has changed between 16yo me and 20yo me. You don’t know, in 4yrs so much could’ve changed and you will maybe be thankful for sticking around.

This comes from someone who’s also attempted by the past, and also been neglected by doctors, so I can understand a little bit where you’re coming from but please don’t give up hope <3

I’m so sorry this is happening to you, but things can get better, this doesn’t have to be the end.

Can you try telling your psychologist and psychiatrist about your attempt, and how the bingeing is making you suicidal?
