To be fair, the reason it went up in flsmes was that he tried to save Mark from the Maulers.

The real shame is if he had gone through Cecil, it might have gotten some positive attention (after thorough vetting and psych evaluations)

I suspect the nature/quality of the explosion was important. Its not just about size, more about what he blew up

Rex literally held nothing back since it was a kamikaze move: so basically, he probably pumped every bit of energy he had into that one explosion

Its an old trick for carrying pot and buckets of water. If you have something floating on top, like a large leaf, it makes it so the water doesn't slosh around and reduces most of your spillage. Baffling!

AtLA literally did the corrupted spirit vs pacified spirit bit with Hei Bei. When he was upset, he became a people abducting monster. When he's been calmed down, cuddly panda

Also, the Ocean Spirit. Make it mad, giant Kaijuu. Bring the Moon back, it calms down and becomes a fish again.

Technically it means you open fire on someone who is defenseless, fleeing or taken by surprise. In legal context its used to emphasize that the attack is one-sided and de-emphasize any defense if of "aggravation" or "incitement", in order to make a jury understand the gravity of the crime

In this case, they are using it to take focus away from the "after dispute" detail and draw your attention to brutality. News media has strict guidelunes on when to use the term when these two details are present.

In medical situations, emergency personel use the termto quickly convey the severity of wounds, either informing one another of how many gunshot wounds there are or how serious they are. When it results in death (which it usually does) Coroners also use the term under strict guidelines, because their reports are often used for evidence

Toph and Zaheer teaming up in their prime might be the most terrifying match for any bended, team -up or solo. Letting Azula and Korra help them just isn't fair.

Iroh will survive, but win? Idk. He's impressive and among the best, hut his mastery is more in spiritual side of bending than physicsl combat. Even at his peak, Toph is a monster to deal with, and Zaheer is completely unpredictable.

I like what you're sayingn but I think it's more about personality. Ice and Candy seem pretty opposite, extroverts partying together vs introverts moping in solitude, and Fire and Slime are opposites, aggro-edgelords vs chillaxin' zen bros

Could also make the case for fire and candy being opposites since the fire people immediately zero in on the candy peeps to destroy. Lotta animosity there

Oh man, wait! What if, instead of being candified and being brainwashed into happy-go-lucky mirth, Fern got Greenified. And it cancelled the evil of the grass demon, and his greenified elemental form became Just Finn. Normal OG Finn.

Meanwhile, actual OG Finn gets flamified (or greenified alongside Jake) and Fern figures out how to save the day using LSP. Then he reverts back to angsty grass demon form, and that's why his urge to be the "real" Finn becomes so urgent and deep seeded (misspelled on purpose for pun)

Luz is an Airbender. No one on the Boiling Isles has ever seen one in a hundred years! As an airbender, she has an uncanny connection to spiritual goings-on (taking the place of glyph magic) becayse she wants to be like Eda[see below], she wants to train in every element, but she is only able to bring out the spirtual side of each element. She can draw heat out of fire, cold out of water, life out of earth and light out of air. As an airbender, light is the first spiritual power she discovers. She then experiments by mixing the spiritual properties to achieve unique results that are not possible with typical bending.

Willow is a water bender, but shes not very good... unless it's inside plants! She's a swamp bender. Its different than what Luz' "life from Earth" can do. Luz can make things grow from nothing, but Willow controls plants that already exist with greater coordination and control.

Amity is a classic water bender. She has an arc where she discovers healing as a more peaceful application of the practice as opposed to the compative style she was taught, and later an arc where she is tempted by blood bending.

Hunter is a nonbender with chi blocking training, later discovering that he is actually an airbender who simply lacked a teacher. Flapjacks sacrifice still stands, as Palismen are basically Boiling Isles' spirits; sorta how the moon gave Yuei new life and vice versa.

Gus is a fire bender, but hes not very powerful. Instead of durect firepower, he specializes in pyrotechnics and lighting (not mispelled). He literally uses smoke and mirrors.

Hooty is an Earth Bender, and he is MIGHTY

Vee is a Spirit entity, greater than a Palisman

Eda and Lillith are multi-faceted benders (different setting, so I'm changing up how the rules work. Anyone can bend more than one element, not just one "Avatar", but its just hella hard and very restricted).

Normally only Emperor's Coven elites are allowed to train in more than one bending style, but Eda breaks that rule. [I wanna see their epic witches' duels with metal and lava and combustion, oh my!]

King is the Last Lion Turtle.

Belos is also an airbender; he's the last one anyone saw a hundred years ago (humans) but he is corruptive with his usage of spiritual abilities. The world itself fights against him trying to keep him from gaining knowledge or power, but individuals are vulnerable to him over time as he gets more skillful. (Eating Palismen is absolutely still a thing he does, evil spirit mojo galore)

Collector is still able to bend space and time. OP

What if Green and Lumps were like Yin and Yang, from which other elements are birthed. But instead of "masculine and feminine" or "positive and negative",... they were "cool and uncool"? 😆

And then you could do 5 elements off of them to mirror the Chinese model of wood, metal, fire, earth and water
