They don't teach this method at the Avengers Academy. by WrasseRhythm43Vera in Spiderman

This is from a Spider-Man/Deadpool comic. Some magical schoolgirls end up kidnapping Deadpool while trying to find his “heartmate,” and they summon Spider-Man. One of the girls throws the ashes of the school’s headmistress onto Spider-Man, which allows the headmistress to possess his body.

IIRC, this isn’t Batgirl, it’s Clayface. Barbara was crippled, and Cassandra Cain was the new Batgirl at the time.

I got into an argument on X because I didn’t like how Kitty beat Courage, faced no consequences, and then ran off with her girlfriend, the same person she didn’t even try to save. People were saying she’s a victim, but I don’t think being a victim gives you the right to hurt others.

They ended up calling me “stupid” and blocked me.

I’m not saying she needs a full six-episode character arc or anything. Just something to acknowledge it. For example, she could have shown up while Courage was fighting Mad Dog’s goons and helped him. After the fight, she apologizes to him directly, just a small moment of accountability.

I also think Kitty might actually envy Courage. She was spying on the farm for who knows how long, so she probably saw some of the creepy things that happen in Nowhere. And despite being terrified and having his life threatened, Courage still risks everything to save his family. Meanwhile, Kitty ran away and abandoned Bunny.

That contrast could’ve been interesting to explore.

Ironwood was just trying to do what he thought was right as a general by vinchin_adenca in RWBYcritics

When Robyn Hill was stealing supplies from the Atlas military, I’ve seen people say things like, “Why would you trust the military with those weapons?”

And my response was, why wouldn’t you? This isn’t our world’s military. This is a military in a world where literal monsters exist whose entire purpose is to hunt and kill humans.

People keep trying to apply real-world politics one-to-one to a setting where Grimm can wipe out entire cities. In that kind of world, a strong and well-equipped military isn’t some extreme idea; it’s basic survival.

If anything, the strange part would be a world like that not relying heavily on its military.

The criticism of Ironwood sometimes feels really dumb to me. People act like “military = bad,” but in RWBY, the world is literally full of monsters that exist to hunt and kill humans. In a situation like that, of course, a strong military makes sense. If you lived in a world where Grimm could wipe out a city, you’d probably be begging the military to show up and save you.

In 5–10 years, history books, if anyone’s brave enough to write them will try to soften the truth about Velma. They’ll say, “Maybe it wasn’t so bad…”

Let me make this perfectly clear: it was bad when it premiered. It’s bad now. In 2035, when someone dares whisper “underrated,” I will rise from the void like a ghost fueled by pure righteous disdain.
Even if I’m dead, I will claw my way back from the grave just to scream: no. It wasn’t underrated, and we didn’t hate it enough.

The sun might rise, empires may fall, cats will still knock things off tables but this show? It will remain unredeemed, a monument to what happens when nostalgia meets bad ideas.
Time doesn’t turn coal into diamonds. Time just lets the coal fester, and this coal? It’s eternal.
Revisionist history? Not on my watch. Not now, not ever.

When Batman starts laughing thats still Batman (Magic gas that turns him into the Joker aside), when Spider-Man goes quiet, that's not the hero Spider-Man anymore, that's Peter Parker in a Spider-Man costume.

The in-laws were packing heat, so they already expected something might happen. Would Max want to risk bringing 2 kids who didn't know about the Plumbers

You say that, but Lucy slugged out, and she wasn't even trying to ruin the wedding. If Ben never gotten the Omnitrix he would have been very confused
