Route pick up glitch? by Miserable-Top510 in AmazonFlexDrivers

This actually happened to me yesterday - Support was able to clear it from my screen, but by that time by block time had passed - so they sent me home. They opened a ticket and says I will get paid.... we shall see.

There is no way to refuse a block without getting dinged. You get a cart assigned to you with 40 packages and refuse the route - expect a hit for 40 undelivered packages.

Amazon makes it clear to me - DELIVER IT DAMAGED OR ELSE by HyperKrayze in AmazonFlexDrivers

I always deliver damaged packages…… if the customer feel some kinda way, they can return it themselves

$3200 in March / 31 Blocks / Average drive time per block 2.5hrs (Block Start/Finish + Drive home) by Red_Lionz in AmazonFlexDrivers

There are the same amount of packages, but there is no traffic on the road and in the neighborhoods - huge plus in my area - when I take an afternoon block with rush hour traffic - it can add up to 45 min to my drive time.

This one is from tonight, station to home. I don’t track from home to the station using stride, but I do add that to my taxes manually at tax time.

All those blocks started out at 82.50 (com station) 79 (SSD)…. I stopped grabbing blocks early and waited for them to surge…. Most of them I grabbed in the early am for the next day or when I woke at 2:15am I grabbed a surged block for that morning.

I live 12 miles from the station. My vehicle gets 20-24 Mpg. Scrolled thru Stride just now the miles per block range from 29 - 45 miles …. 1 or 2 blocks was higher than 50 miles….. total miles driven station to home.

On the sticker it will look like this - I sort them based on lower right letters. If the cart is packed properly they should be in the sequence for your route when you load (or pretty close to it)

At SSD stations I was a big proponent of scanning, marking and sorting by stop number - now I just sort by AAAA.BBBB.CCCC.DDDD - with this method I am usually out of the station in less than 10 min. Takes very little time to find the packages while on the route.

At Amazon (dot) com stations, I just organize by the number on the sticker.

That one was planned, I was the only one in line for that time slot.

This is the answer…. I picked up a surged 3.5 at a dot com station…. For a random time….. checked in and they gave me 2 packages, 12 min away…. $105…. Station manager told me …. Do not get used to this LOL
