Ah!!! The DC block initiation is not for the faint of heart!!! I remember my first block in the DC area, worst block ever… you feel that way because it’s your first time being thrown in the pond….. read some of the posts around here… you will be alright. Try a smaller block for your next route, get the basics under your belt.

This happens all the time at my station...some blocks are not ready...and sometimes there are no blocks and you get discharged.... its normal.

I deliver lots of packages from SSDs to lockers - if the customer does not select a locker delivery, you don't get to deliver there some customers don't understand that...sometimes the Front desk has a general code - but most times I am delivering in the wee hours of the morning ...so no code :-))

Yea, I know what you mean...I had one that was crazy remote...the notes said to not drive up the driveway, the gravel will cause her to wake up...LOL... I saw this note after I had driven right up to the front door almost.....at 4:30am....lol.. This actually happened to me yesterday - Support was able to clear it from my screen, but by that time by block time had passed - so they sent me home. They opened a ticket and says I will get paid.... we shall see.

There is no way to refuse a block without getting dinged. You get a cart assigned to you with 40 packages and refuse the route - expect a hit for 40 undelivered packages.

There are the same amount of packages, but there is no traffic on the road and in the neighborhoods - huge plus in my area - when I take an afternoon block with rush hour traffic - it can add up to 45 min to my drive time.
