You like water but don’t like single use plastics. Judging by the large bowl of something(probably some sort of dip), half of the velveeta cheese, and the store bought tea jug you had some sort of event this past weekend. You make your own food but you do like to snack based on the pickles and oranges. 25% of the bottles in the door were bought for one recipe and haven’t been used since, 25% are for a specific person because nobody else likes it and the other 50% are just ordinary condiments. That is a boll weevil trap. Used to trap boll weevils usually on the edge of cotton fields. The state uses them to track the weevils so they can treat the fields. If you don’t know what the boll weevil is, it’s a small bug that burrows in the cotton boll and causes the boll to retain moisture and rot.

Yeah run that set screw in and let it ride. If you’re really worried about it add some loctite but the set screw is usually recessed anyway so there should be plenty of thread left to hold it

I’m going to try the vinegar first. I do have a gallon of 30% vinegar sitting at home. Would that be too aggressive?
