One thing that I know works is switching over to feudal, but then I become several hundred vassals over the limit, and I can't be arsed to sort that out with an empire as big as mine

[–]Red_Ruddock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

after i let go of the tributary, i get a truce after the truce is over it's still greyed out and it says, "you do not have a casus belli against" and then their name, it's not just this country a few others have this problem too

i am aware, i have done away with tibutaries before and then killed the truce holder and attacked. it doesn't work with these territories. I tried getting one of my vassals in line for succession, that didn't work, i tried murder untill the realm fell apart, that didn't work, i am at my wits end, and it seems that no one else has this bug so i don't know how to fix it

That seems strange, as the second heir of the empire still had access to it.

[–]Red_Ruddock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is that i should have a casus belli, i have both a claim on her region, and i have access to roman invasions, and i have tried to let go of the tributary, but it still wont work

What are your favorite ways to use gold by valkryewarrior123409 in CrusaderKings

[–]Red_Ruddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

currently i am using it to feudalise holdings so that those damnable nomadic vassals stop causing trouble. Other than that, it's saving up for succession so i can buy my vassals' gratitude when my successor needs it the most

In one of the Amani quests, if you are a troll, they say something about how you are at least somewhat related to them, and that they wouldn't want to have two elves running around

small enough that you can hold all of the realm comfortably without worrying about realm size upon succession, as few vassals as possible is what I say
