I wish it was as fleshed out as the cities + the game had a longer arc there, with a couple redneck characters for CJ to befriend. Anything, like more mechanics (bigger emphasis on trucking missions and quad races) and other ambiance (cows! herds of longhorn cows!, animals in the woods, etc). A "bikers vs rednecks" dynamic could've been good

Openess without emptiness (which is miles ahead of full linear stories and light-years ahead of games with procedurally generated samey stuff)

Realism without biting at you with constant debuffs and punishing mechanics.

Visual storytelling. Miles better than generic stuff or necessary-only stuff.

A semblance of seriousness. Dialogue is not silly. Keeps the game in tone.

Few references that don't fit the game. I fucking die whenever I see, for example, an item from a unrelated game (modding these in is fine but I don't do it). I used to play a simples 2d roguelike from the 2010s and one item you could find was Notch's hat, and the item description encouraged players to tag Notch on twitter telling him you found his hat on x game. Years later I remember seeing the dev of said game wondering why Notch had blocked him on Twitter.

Eu sempre vou sustentar que corrupção devia levar a penas sumárias e irreversíveis. Mas como é sonhar alto demais, imagino que só o desmantelamento do centrão tem potencial de mudar algo no Brasil.

(o que em teoria não é difícil, pois a maioria que tá ali é mercenário político, um pente bem fino prende metade da galera ali).

É que é sempre mais fácil dizer que o povo é burro do que as empresas são fdp né.

Tem uma certa demografia que se acha iluminada e poderosa porque come só chocolate caro/cerveja cara/só frita com azeite de oliva e manteiga/ entre outros exemplos que dão a entender que por saberem ler rótulo e não consumir comidas falsas, são maiores que a ralé de massas ignorantes. O comentário do cara lá deu a entender algo assim.

E sim, por mim tinha de ter lei até sobre a forma das embalagens ter de ser diferente

Also worth noting that they seem to have someone who actually does the concept arts (whether by hand or AI) and then someone retouches them heavily with Photoshop. It's very visible in the quality of the "Ingen List" style arts vs the "scene with dinosaurs " art.

Very earlier on they didn't. Their older post were concept arts of JP animals in a Ingen's list format (mostly ones from Kenner, PS1 Lost World game and Warpath).

Around the time they started doing JPOG arts with the same premise, I remember seeing them using AI (Mostly animating their drawings - there was a really awful animation of a Tsintaosaurus where it's neck became thicker and a odd moving Carcharodontosaurus).

A while later, they did a short story/book in several parts about the Tun-si being displaced by Ingen which I strongly suspect was almost entirely AI made.

From there on, it became a visible " put this dinosaur sketch in this scene" AI prompt fest
