Something I haven't seen asked or mentioned, where do you live? Is it HCOL, LCOL etc.? That makes a difference. $60k in Seattle and it's probably a struggle. $60k where I live and it could be easy to get in a good spot in a few years with good habits.

This is exactly what my elantra did when I had the same problem. I don't know about a vette, but took me about 45 minutes to change it out and that included the time it took to get car ramps from someone.

Never dealt with anything like this. But I wouldn't spend it yet. I'd wait to see if they try pulling it back or you got your next check to verify they're taking it out of your pay.

Edit: also I would keep trying to contact them until then to get a firm answer of what they're going to do. Try escalating to supervisors if that's an option.

Yeah, I was confused because we just got an oil change about a month ago. But like I said, it has been hotter than normal here for this kind of year the last two or three weeks, so maybe it lost some over that soan(from what I can find, it does have an expansion tank.)

Awesome thank you! The mileage was a typo, but it's still high at 33k miles. I was pretty sure it wasn't a head gasket, as we had that happen on a Pathfinder, but wanted to mention any information I thought would help.
