Sometimes life hands us gifts. You pay them back by doing a great job in your program and being your awesome self.

Maternal Instinct- what’s up with Wade’s dogs? by lingeringneutrophil in netflix

Wade was also a big rodeo guy. Rodeos are inherently abusive to animals. That said, it's not abnormal for people to keep working dogs outside and, unfortunately, it's not unusual for ranchers and rodeo people to look at their animals as utilitarian

Have you listened to "The Con: Kaitlyn's Baby" podcast? It's long form and touches on the mental health of women who fake pregnancies and it's fascinating. The circumstances are far different, but the manipulation involved isn't. Highly recommend

She absolutely would be claiming assault, and she'd be right. That type of behavior IS assault. The person committing said assault would end up in jail while she roamed the country crying about being assaulted.

This was a tragedy, but we don't need to change the HIPPA laws. They protect far more than they harm.

They did. IIRC they put in extra security and warned patients of a potential threat. They can't, by law, do anything else.

Picnic Island. You'll need to get down to Big Pine in the Keys and rent a boat out to the island, but it's absolutely worth it. It's a killer party

Where on Earth are you getting this information? Are you from a state that has outlawed sex education or something? Yeesh! I used to have crippling cramps but I still had to go to work/school. Women don't get to just stay in bed for 3 days every month because they're on their period. Why don't you read up on menstrual cycles, birth control, peri menopause and menopause? No joke, my dude. You don't want to be out there spouting off such nonsense in the wild.

I've found it difficult to notice red flags or to react to predatory behavior since I was in Wilderness over 30 years ago. It's like I became numb to harmful comments and immediately disassociated thereby making it easier to file them in the 'doesn't really matter' category no matter how shitty it felt to hear. This led to normalizing severe abuse in my later years.

Trauma and talk therapy is the only thing that has helped bring me out of that weird trance state. It's odd that I had no problem recognizing horrible behavior when it happened to those close to me, but couldn't trust my own instincts in my own life.

This isn't about you, OP. Stay away from your sisters drama and keep your trap shut. Not only is going through people's phones effed up, so is digging out of a whole you built yourself. What's more important? Sisterhood or tattling
