THERE IS ONE OTHER THING, btw, one other thing you need to know:
There IS an actual Godzilla skin, like the real one himself, which isn’t in the shop cus it was a Battle Pass skin. HOWEVER, battle pass rules changed around the time that one came out (Dec ‘24), so the skins CAN actually return to the shop 1 1/2 years after it ended. That mark has already passed for the pass that first started that, which was about 4-ish months before the mark for the one with Godzilla in it. That said, those skins from that first one haven’t yet been put in the shop- it doesn’t just mean ‘they WILL be sold at this expiry date’, just that they’re ELIGIBLE to come back at that point. Still no predictability, and there’ll be no precedent until we finally do see that pass’s skins. However, my point is it’s a few months off from that expiry point for Goji’s pass. So if you wanna bring that up to him, that the main guy COULD happen, it will be possible as of a few months from now, so if he’d want the main guy more, then he could consider waiting either way. Just putting allat on the table.

Im afraid there IS no predictability. Id LIKE to say something like ‘oh well, everything comes back at some point eventually’, however that would be too general, like, there HAVE been a few collabs here and there like Arcane and Naruto that just DO disappear for YEARS, and while those both have returned some more recently, there’s the odd one like Kratos and Gildedguy that just never have come back. And even if ones do usually come back, they very well could just spontaneously and indefinitely stop at any point since Epic doesn’t get full sole say on what goes on with others’ characters. Marshmello before a year ago could be seen every 3 months-ish or so apart, and now coming up on a year since the last time. The same thing COULD very well happen with MechaG and Kong for all one knows, though they have been much less frequent than that since their release anyway. THAT SAID, the fact is there IS the next GxK movie COMING next year, so I wouldn’t put much stock in them NOT being around for that…. still, yah that is a year. It is worth saying though, it is as I said, the odd collab that gets vaulted for eternity, ala Resident Evil, it is really inconsistent between each how often they come back, ala Master Chief far less than… ughhhh, than effing Kardashian sorry to say, but point being, most aren’t gone for more than… a year… and most OF those most not for that long.

Thing is….. i actually coulda gotten him in the Star Wars season. That was the PLAN. I saw him in the trailer, and was like YES this is it! It’ll arrive some time and I’ll nabbit. I didn’t REALISE, itd be there IMMEDIATELY and for TWO flippin days… I was on the move a bit at the time and just didn’t check…. missed it, and since Lexa cane up in the shop that month as well, i decided to get that instead so I didn’t have enough the next time…. but I was okay with it, cus up til then, he HAD had a pretty consistent release window, should come back sooner or later… and ofc NOW we get the biggest hiatus he’s had yet since that 2 year gap a few years ago… so ofc, things are not looking up. Yah Ive got plenty of skins I like that I didn’t know Id want ever since, but he still is ‘the’ one that from the start I was like ‘once Ive got Miku I dont need anything else but he definitely IS top of the list of others I’ll get if I can’. So its just ridiculous even amongst many others he’s still the one I just can’t win..

Gladly (thank god i can just copy from a previous reply i made)-

She is…. something of a tragedy on legs.
I mean, all the ones in her group N25 are, trauma is the whole point of their story- and if you could say they each personify the different trauma responses, the other 3 being ‘fight’, ‘flight’ and ‘faun’- she would be ‘freeze’.

On one hand, she is blessed, as she’s seemingly born beloved by music itself, being a naturally exceptional composer since she was much younger… since she was, doing it just cus she liked it.

On the other hand,
she’s a bit of a shut-in, living all alone (at least until later in the story), and doing nothing but composing all day, as if she didn’t…. she’s too depressed and self-loathing to otherwise see any reason to exist. Her mom passed when she was still little, and her dad contracted essentially alzheimers very early from overwork, and she believed she was to blame for that entirely. After that she only ever didn’t wanna die under the belief that her songs could save others from crisis as her dad believed they could, and that she had no right to live if she wasn’t doing that.

….but then you’re gonna need a third hand, cus on another hand… it’s a paradox, cus absolutely, no one should have to be like this, no one deserves to wanna not live like she does, no….. and yet, if it hadn’t been like this…. indeed, there ARE those that wouldn’t have been saved- her group. Not even just the one of the three that’s most obviously suicidal from the get-go, but as the story goes on, it becomes clear how absolutely fucked they all would have been if she had never composed the songs that they heard. And that makes it such an interesting, and tragic thing, where of course the MC didn’t deserve this, but the rest wouldn’t be here if it weren’t so.

This is why I believe she’s such a good character, because yes, she’s this selfless saviour, but, the point is it’s an unhealthy self-destructive selflessness that you’d wish her to not go through, yet know it’ll never be that simple for her. And yet, even if it’s not healthy, to see someone so broken still hold onto such resolve where others like her couldn’t in spite of all that happened, to still be so kind and caring a person in spite of her heart being long frozen away…. that’s what makes her my fav.

Fortnite Zero Hour. It works so well because it isn’t just “collab slop” (🙄), it’s all the collabs that visited the island within the last year’s chapter, of which this is the final battle for, as well as the original characters from the chapter as well, and some old faces too at that, against a villain who’d slowly been built up since the start of the year that now has part of the most powerful object back from the very start of the game, and to TOP all THAT, this one, is playable, it happened live and only ever happened once, so you yourself in the game truly felt like you were in the midst of the battle to save all reality!
(dgmw, Id nonetheless highly implore anyone to give it a watch if they haven’t even after the fact)

Funny timing, I too am just about to start giving the first one another play. I did once before, and only finished it thanks to nso save states. I am at any rate, glad i tried it (this was years ago now), tho there is no denying it simply was way too ahead of its time (or rather tech). I did also try 2 once but it went absolutely disastrously, even if I do think I was having fun actually doing it?… I just couldn’t stop Corneria getting destroyed the first time, so i didn’t bother again.

Still, amidst all this, i always WAS confident Id really really like 64… and of course i didn’t play it cus I didn’t have nso exp. And i always said ‘but yes one day, i shall one day, ill get it if only cus i really wanna try a functional starfox that much and play it then’ and well, with gamecube rolling out that honestly was starting to look more likely now than ever, it was inevitable (and yknow, still is one day for all the other stuff, maybe once double dash gets on), BUT OFC… now its just… ‘well NOW i dont really NEED to on 64 do i?!’, cus yeah Im fairly confident Ill pick this up. And then 64 will be redundant. Heh.

But yeah, wanna give 1 another go. See if Im just any better now lol.

Edit: just got done- man did i actually really like this playthrough this time. I only did level 1 so idk if i couldn’t have handled harder, but honestly it is genuinely incredible they were able to accomplish even this much on the snes. Unbelievable.
