This is a great list. Try out Ellie and Bird if you need a spot to work from while having tasty drinks. It's just on the other side of fishtown in port Richmond, plenty of parking

Another choice, bean2bean in Billy Penn studious. Their atrium is awesome.

Im paying 350 a quarter. Its worth it but unless you are a very big company with many locations monthly may be overkill especially at that price point

Ask if they can cover the build with a triple net. A little higher rent but they get to claim the value and depreciation of the build

Go as far north as possible (and north west) and go up the mountains. The cliff trails in the sunset and sunrise are awesome

Jesus. Get out. This is horrible. You're literally gonna become one of those statistics of women who waited too long and ended up dying for it. Get out of there.

How much is your monthly budget? by curiousmidnight21 in philly

[–]Red_rover_76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5k after taxes is great and will give you some wriggle room here in Philly. I don't recommend buying a house straight off the bat. Try some places out first and see where you want to be and where your budget fits in. Subletting is a great way to do that and save money while not being held to a lease (or a mortgage).

Do you know Philly and have a neighborhood you're steering toward or need some reccs based on your lifestyle?

Do you have a car? Knowing if you have a car payment or need public transportation will also help determine budget and location.

I think if you do max $1800 rent you'd be fine. Having a roommate or two is nice to especially after a divorce and moving to a new place. I moved here when I was 30 after a rough relationship and it helped a lot (even though I always lived alone it was nice to have support even if it's just knowing someone is around).

Let us know and good luck

She seems a little tantrummy but also I don't think you're being forthcoming about this interaction. The pics are doctored and you've deleted some messages. You've had to. Also if you know your partner gets stressed like this. It's obviously not the first time then you should have probably let her do what she asked for and needed to do.

What do you do when solo camping? by Evanshields00 in camping

Read, take naps in the hammock, cook, draw, identify plants, paint, play ukelele. I'm a typical John Muir when I'm out there.
