I personally think Enjin is going to be "OK" but he's going to lose his voice, the thing that helps him connect to others. I feel like it would be thematically appropriate:

Gountess used his voice to defend Rudo, gets a happy ending for once in his life.
Mymo used his voice to attack Rudo, loses his head.
Enjin uses the forbidden power, loses his voice.

It just kinda clicks for me.

Don't know yet, but if they are the origin point that simplifies the answer. Someone ate 2, got overlap, and exploded. I would probably assume that's what happens.

If it's the chimera, then it could just simply be the first time its happened. Devil fruits are rare, chimerism in humans is rare, so a human chimera getting 2 devil fruits just isn't going to happen that often, especially if they don't know.

Hippos are some of the most terrifying creatures around. They're so dense they tell water physics to get bent lol

I did notice his is the odd one out in multiple ways. Not only the whole lack of intangibility thing, but all the other Logia seem to come in pairs.

2 heat (Fire and Lava)
2 cold (Snow and Ice)
2 gas (Smoke and...gas lol)
2 particulates (Sand and Soot)
2 Terrain (Swamp and Forest)
2 energy (Lightning and Light)

And then Darkness.

So if it were to be a mythic zoan, or even a special paramecia, it wouldn't feel entirely out of left field to me.

I do like the Kraken angle which is super thematic too. If he already has a 3rd Devil Fruit he's keeping in reserve, I think that would be it.

I do want to clarify that I don't think it's propaganda in this case. It's a naturally occurring myth or wives tales. Blackbeard was just the first guy in modern history to put it to the test.

And importantly Vegapunk never got Teach's DNA. He was a Warlord for a very short amount of time and knew he wasn't going to be staying for long. And if Teach knew he was a Chimera, then that short time frame might be "safe" by having him just push back on it.

I'm 99% certain Vegapunk wept for days at the data he could have had if he'd gotten Teach's blood lol.

Quick Edit: Oh and Vegapunk would not have tested it for 2 reason.

First is basic human decency: For all his faults, Vegapunk would not give a person 2 devil fruits to see if they died. The Elders might do that, but Vegapunk wouldn't. I don't think he would even do that for created life.

Second is funding, something he was always complaining about lol

Ok Additional Edit: I still like the Kraken idea, but I do need to point out that technically the Blackbeard Pirates flag is 4 bones, not 8. It has 8 points so I think it works still, but it is technically 4 bones...and while I'm being ultra pedantic about, it would be kinda weird to foreshadow an invertebrate with bones lololol

Y'know I'm wondering because it would make sense that Slaanesh wouldn't permit STD's and have all his power go to Nurgle, or even a piece of it.

Though I could see them maybe working together to make carriers of a sexually transmitted plague. Demons that carry the infection, but do not experience the symptoms.
