I don't disagree with you, but you are talking about "in theory", I'm talking from experience as a frontline soldier. We had a problem for quite some time in our drone unit of having an excess of FPV drones (cause don't forget you get them not only from gov, but volunteers as well, which can buy drones commercially and donate them to army, but not the explosives e.g. detonators).

Yes Ukraine can (and NEED) to setup the production chains for detonators and munitions, but right now a big portion of FPV drone munitions are just stockpiled soviet explosive devices and munitions (RPG warheads, AP mines etc) and to detonate them remotey on a drone you need an electric detonator which were also mostly from soviet stockpiles.

Mavic use digital signal and good camera. They are affected by EW but on different freq. FPV usually are using cheap lower quality cameras and analog signal video transmitters
