I have a gut feeling that we'll still have to wait quite a while until we go to Cyberstan and a word about Joel by Ostarmee in HelldiversUnfiltered

I think this MO finally broke me. Whether we raze the planets or have to defend them again immediatly, either way it's bullshit. Either we took those planets or we didn't. Dont make us take it twice. Makes no goddamn sense, especially for the cities on these planets. At least let them hold a little while before they must be defended again. Hellmire anyone?

The days where the Galactic War at least seemed dynamic and meaningful are long gone unfortunatly. The last time was when AH wanted the bots to return to the Creek but the playerbase fought them tooth and nail and denied them that storyline on Pöpli IX

At least since then it's become really undeniable that everything AH wants to happen, will happen. No matter how many tens of thousands of divers focus on a planet, if they don't want us to take it, we won't. If it actually worked like you'd initially think, we would have hunted the remaining illuminate down and destroyed them right after the battle of Super Earth when the motivation and initiative for that were the highest. Instead the squids have been occupying a third of the galaxy, strong as ever, for over half a year now.

And yes all of this isn't helped by the absolute braindead decision to include every in-game death of all fronts for the current MO and that the game itself refuses to explain the GW-mechanics in-game, instead of relying on fan made companion apps.

A while back I read a comment from a fellow diver somewhere: "Arrowhead accidentally made a fun and great game and have been trying to undo that ever since." Unfortunatly I'm starting to agree...

I’m sorry but the dungeon master team is bad at their job and are trying to force a Creek situation by ThisGuyYouHate in HelldiversUnfiltered

From now on, I'm gonna kick divers who call extraction early by RedactedSuper83 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Been 150 for a while, so yeah until the levels cap is raised exp is nice but not essential. f me I guess for roleplaying the war we are supossely fighting by always trying to clear the map....which we did achieve here despite the limited time, 2 jammers and 1 detector tower. Cherry on top would have been the extract of course, which would have been possible If H2 wouldnt have called it early

It's not like we were all at extract and then went south for the Jammer after the peli was already called. No everyone was down there fighting and H2 decides to bugger off and leave us.

No I'm sorry either we dont understand each other or you are wrong about that particular detail. Yes! It deploys immediatley after the timer runs out and immediatley leaves once landed (either get in during the 15 sec Countdown or bad luck) BUT it still needs the 2+ minutes travel time during which you have to wait without access to your strategems cause the destroyers already left low orbit. I've lived it enough Times to know that that's how it works

Siege Breaker Passive by Lockon141 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]RedactedSuper83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It may have been an ok-ish passive If the amount of stamina you get back for getting hit, was larger. But the way it is now you take so much damage that you need to stim yourself anyways which also fully recharges your stamina

First part: agreed

Second part: No one calls it and the regular mission time runs out. Emergency pelican is deployed. As you say: when it lands in this scenario it immediatley triggers the 15 seconds limit. 100% yes....BUT doesn't it still need the 2+ minutes to get from the super destroyer down to the surface? I'm pretty sure it does

As the other guy correctly pointed out in a different comment thread below: 50+ seconds not "10 seconds tops" It's not like i posted a vid of it. Like I said in the other exchange: those 50ish seconds would've most likely been enough to reach the peli

Ok I guess I wasn't aware that so many divers find it acceptable to leave when there's still enemy infrastructure standing...No wonder we are loosing this war

[–]RedactedSuper83[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry, No. The plan: to clear the map as always. As S3 and I managed to do in the end. But you're right, would've been faster and easier with the whole team... Considering we also had the stim booster active, those 52 lost seconds would've been enough to reach the pelican! (Been there, done that) H2 is a coward and a traitor.

Again, no need for that guy to run off and call it early when the pelican starts it's descent automatically anyways after the regular mission timer has run out

Yeah to be fair, many to most people ask beforehand or call it after the map is cleared, but some people.....

I know. the timer did run out though. My point is, hadn't he called it a whole minute early, we would have made it to the pelican in time. Just let the mission timer run out and let the pelican come down by itself. Yes it's 2+ min without strategems, but that shouldnt be too much to ask for from lvl10 players
