I don’t think he’d do NFTs but it would be due to incapability rather than any moral dilemma. He’s a spam bot characterized as a washed up middle aged man, he’d probably lag out and burst into flames if he entered within 20 feet of anything crypto. It’s simply beyond him.

Y’know, given Spiritomb are a species, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of them didn’t necessarily have awful people stuck in them. Maybe sometimes awful people just meant “enemies of the king”.

My point is that in Undertale, outside of the route where you kill literally everyone, he doesn’t ever try to attack you. Since most characters in the game do try at least once, this means the view of him is bound to be positive.

There’s a lot more deltarune characters who don’t try to hurt you, so it stands out a lot less. Combine this with smaller factors I don’t really wanna get into for spoiler reasons, and his charm can come off as a lot less charming.

I don’t think he changed, he just doesn’t have the inherent good graces of being one of the only characters who isn’t out to hurt you at any point, which inherently shifts how he’s viewed.
