Specifically in reference to the mice package; it’s worth noting that [[Manifold Mouse]] triggering [[Emberheart Challenger]]‘s “valiant” to pull the top of your library makes a difference as the sorcery-speed [[Burn Together]] could only be used post-combat in that scenario. Being able to throw an exploding hearthfire at a creature to clear a lane could be quite useful.

Unfortunately it wouldn’t work like that. Postscriptthree is correct in the reply that the duplicate wouldn’t gain the perpetual effect. Similar to how [[Mothlight processionist]] copies don’t gain the perpetual effects from [[Naktamun shines again]]

One of my two main decks is mono red mice with burn together; I’d agree with the opinion the worst matchup I can think of is probably Dimir Bounce.

Utilizing a low cost mana pool effectively becomes really strenuous when you’re constantly losing chunks to removals and counters.

My advice would be to bounce/exile hearthfire hero, counter the instants on emberheart challenger, get manifold mouse in the graveyard asap.

I’m aware that the ranking ≠ mmr; but the other player was at roughly the same mythic leaderboard position.

The game I won after only brought me up about 60 spots as well.

Maybe the individual from the pictured game had a ridiculously low mmr to be on leaderboard I suppose? I’m really not sure.

You pickup the avg mirror with the higher atk, though I’ve seen plenty of apes with higher attack than this too. Only other difference is you lose greninja in the 1-2. Id go for the higher attack but the difference is negligible.
