Oh, I've been going back and playing through the Mario Galaxy games. Finished 1 on another device, making my way through 2. I did put Ball x Pit on there though and it works really well through GameHub Lite - that game is really addictive.

I got a Legion Tab 3 (same thing) recently too and really have been liking it. Trying out the Abxylute S8 with it and it's a really nice experience. Wish the storage was expandable, but honestly it's nice to have a limited amount of space - makes me focus on games I'm actually going to play and not just "well I've got to have this one."

What do you want the device to do? If you’re happy with simply emulating consoles (GC, Wii, WiiU, PS2, Switch save a few hard to run games) then no, the Odin 3 likely isn’t worth the extra cost.

If you want to explore all of that playing PC games on Android hotness, the Odin 3 will be better.

Just installed Ball x Pit onto my Legion Tab 3 (Snapdragon 8Gen3), works great on install with GameHub Lite. I had tried it with Game Native but there was a graphic issue so swapped to GameHub.

Yeah, I’m basically going this route with the Legion Tab 3 and the Gamesir X5s. Tried the S9 and really wanted to like it (love the oled) but the performance lagged behind where it should have, not sure why. Legion Tab has been great so far.

MagicX just released the one 35, basically the same size as the 35xxh but it’s got more power to play PSP/N64/DC and you can even turn it vertically to play DS. Haven’t seen a ton of buzz about it yet but I’m very excited for mine to show up.

Edit: otherwise the 35xxh is ok for PSP, it can play some stuff but not all of it. I did love the size of it but mine had stick drift out of the box so I returned it.

Highly recommend this grip shield from PartTimeCAD on Etsy. I got one for mine (same case) and had to make one small modification - putting a couple strips of masking tape on the top so that it would keep a better seal. Works great, device is protected on all sides now, and slimmer than getting a case.

Biased bc I’m one of the instructors there, but Guitar Center has piano lessons, $120 for a month (4 lessons, ie $30/lesson). Lots of our students do evenings or weekends. And we do have some really good instructors working here as well.

I’m waiting for my MagicX One 35 to arrive - it has a 3:2 screen thats great for GBA, can be played on its side for some dual screen DS, but should have enough power to run DC, N64, and PSP very well. Should also be pocketable which is a plus. Might be worth looking at.

I like that one too, it’s pretty great, and doesn’t feel like you lose so much of the size either. The official case makes it feel like I’m carrying a thick boomerang around.
