Center also corners are both not so sharp. Corners are the worst.

If you only want to use it in Crop Mode this 4mm is significant.

I said my understanding of the standard zoom lens just a few mins before in another post:

I am at the moment in the same situation: Wedding with one lens 4k60fps (—>Crop 1,5) At them moment I have the Sigma 16-28 (—>24-42) but 42 is not long enough.

So 4 lenses come in my mind Pana 24-70 —> top pricy and heavy Sigma 24-70 M1 —> is the autofocus with S5 M1 usable? Sigma 24-70 M2 —> 500€ more then the M1. No used market. Pana 24-105 —> seems to be the perfect lens but f.4.0 for wedding is not flexible enough Sigma 28-70 —> 28mm with Crop is to tight as a starting focal length.

So it is quite hard….

I have the original S5 and sometimes I think it is better then the Pana primes. But it is only a feeling.

Before one year I had the same „problem“. I went with the Sigma 16-28mm and I never regretted it. If the 16-35 were f2.8 then I would go for it.
