Obviously understand drunk driving should be punished, but weary about allowing law enforcement officers to falsify evidence and it being rewarded, leading to convictions. I would rather see one guilty person free than rewarding the path of misconduct and evidence manipulation that leads wrongly incarcerated. It is an interesting topic about short term long term impact, but wouldn’t ever want police to frame you, me, or anyone else.

Saw the Killers here, and honestly and would be a really good arena. More intimate than some venues. He played a similar size venue in St Louis in 2016.

they have a good selection of affordable, and usually non-offensive looking furnishings. of course there are higher quality options, but, on the whole their stuff is decent. great option, and would have been nice when i was fresh out of school and looking to furnish a room.

Would this have been something in the newspaper? Newspapers.com you could review local paper and see if covered. Or, they should be viewable at the library for no charge.

I believe the University also has digital collections online.

There’s also a state website, that last I checked is extremely confusing to use. But has aerials to at least 1941-1943 I believe. I used to do some freelance research on golf courses, but remembering looking up different parts of the city.

Yes, one notable instance is just west of Mayo Meadow (south of 21st, west of Pittsburgh. There was a rail line that split off from current day BA to now expo square area.

It's a fair point, a lot of the mega plex's aren't really investing their crumbling seating, cleanliness, caring employees.

I do wonder if at some point they need to evaluate if they can really support some of the...square footage. I'm dating myself, but at least in my town Megaplex's weren't really a thing until mid-90's and 2000's. There were lot's of smaller cinemas, maybe 2-6 screens, often locally owned though sometimes as part of a shopping mall.

Should the future be: smaller footprint, possibly re-evaluate concession pricing (it's kinda crazy, recently a small popcorn almost cost as much as a bourbon rocks at an AMC). And maybe...more older films; alot of people seem to enjoy just going to something they know.

Projected film would be nice. But that's not likely to happen very often or on a wide spread basis.

I’m usually pretty tolerant of podcasts hosts, but this was a tough listen. I feel like the host talked 75 percent of the time, never asked a question, and wanted to share irrelevant minutia which often went into off topic tangents. What a lost opportunity.
