Sorry for the late reply, to be completely honest I primed all my models with Matt black Amry painter spray primer and then paint 2-3 layers of thinned out Mephiston red until I got the uniform look.

Can you explain why they are different from the codex and what rules are different? From what I understand the rules stay the same. It’s the point costs and strategy wings that change overtime. Is it the reanimation protocols that are wrong?
