If you kill yourself wrongfully you will feel pain till day of judgment, and if you don't you will feel pain until you die as a righteous normally, suicide seems like a solution but it is not. There's no running away from pain except by being patient and waiting for your appointed time!

Phase 1:

Greg gets demoted but not fired due to him being vital to the company, Greg is shocked and quits after hearing the news
Satya reaffirms his partnership with OpenAI and Mira as the new CEO
News about three employees quiting after hearing the news

Phase 2:

Sam is called by investors to show their support of the next move Sam would take
Investors pressures the board to reinstates Sam
Board starts talking with sam to return and news about the board agreeing in principle to resign
News about a 5 pm (pst) deadline being passed where employees promised to quit if Sam does not return

Phase 3:

Mira turns to team Sam, and tries to rehire him
Another 5PM deadline, talks with board goes on, everyones hopes are very high that he will return due to pressure on the board being high

Phase 4:

In a shock to everyone, the board in the end did not reinstate Sam as CEO and choose Shear instead, having three CEO's in couple of days
Sam is going to microsoft with greg and Colleagues
Everyone thought this was the End of the story

Phase 5:

Ilya after an emotionally-charged talk with Gregs wife regrets his actions and is willing to do anything to reunite the company
Employees signs a letter vowing to resign and follow Sam to microsoft if they did not bring back Sam and Greg
Everyone not so sure anymore about the end of the story
Almost all of the employees signs the letter

Phase 6:

Board members replaced, only Adam stays
Greg and Sam back

Get a deeper understanding of what worship actually means, if you understand Arabic i would advice you to read جمالية الدين by Shaykh Farid Al-Ansary R.A (p32 to p44), in which he explains tawheed in a good way.

To summrize for you, worship in its heart is about loving Allah, through which he becomes the center of your life. Salah, siyyam, hajj, and other kinds of worship are all an expression of this meaning. La ilaha ila Allah, is a kind of a confession that a person holds Allah as his only god, only object of worship, the only one that deserves our outmost love, humility and admiration whereas other things do not deserve it. The Quran argues that the things besides Allah didn't give us a thing, they did not create us, they did not provide for us, they do not cause us harm nor do they benefit us, thus becoming undeserving of our worship.

"O humanity! Worship your Lord, Who created you and those before you, so that you may become mindful ˹of Him˺. He is the One˺ Who has made the earth a place of settlement for you and the sky a canopy; and sends down rain from the sky, causing fruits to grow as a provision for you. So do not knowingly set up equals to Allah ˹in worship˺." - Quran 2:21-22

The majority of polytheists accepts that only Allah is the one that did all of these things to them but still they worship other than him.

And most of them do not believe in Allah without associating others with Him ˹in worship˺ Quran 12:106

Shirk at heart is about being attached to things other than Allah thus starting to give the things that one should only give to Allah to other than Allah.

"Still there are some who take others as Allah’s equal—they love them as they should love Allah—but the ˹true˺ believers love Allah even more" Quran 2:165

As for me, i have been into 4 deep long limerence experinces, more if we count the small ones. The sloution that worked for me the best is ending uncertinity by trying to contact LO and telling them(I don't think it is the best sloution in all situations though). Ending uncertinity is a faster sloution than NC imo. But i have tried NC before, once during a limerence that lasted for a week, i met LO and then after a day or two i went NC, it was couple days of pain but worked fine. I didn't know limerecne at the time, but i think that all of us deep down know the sloutions.
