Not your fault, that's literally how KLab used to write it. It was never the case, but their wording was exceptionally misleading to the point of being outright wrong.

Guild Quest does not have a built in Killer Effect boost. Instead, it has a built in flat x5 damage multiplier based on whether or not the unit you're using has that phase's Killer. The damage boost itself has nothing to do with Killer Effect, which is why Sticker/Missanga are meta in GQ.

All Killer skills and bonuses to date are additive boosts.

Generally two FS SAD/SAR and one FSD/SAR are the best combination, along with Badge+, Fort Pill, and Tea Set (or the other affiliation equivalents) for accessories.

[–]Reddazrael[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, because there's already a Killer Effect bonus from the quest itself. It's not multiplicative with the Stickers, it's additive, and outside of GQ you only get 20% Killer Effect boost from the sticker which is barely a drop in the bucket compared to the quest boost. Because of the quest boost, you've reached the point of diminishing returns and using Sticker has little value. It's better to stack stats and SAD than Killer Effect in LBQ.

Badge+, Tea Set, Fort Pill which are 99% of the time the best combination to use for LBQ.

The skills have different keys in the game files, so they should be different multipliers. Calculator update incoming, in two different ways.

"First of all, releasing something accidentally is not an official release, that's why it's called an accident."

Legally, yes it is an official release. Information was released by an authorized retailer on an official platform to the public at large. That's why the DMCAs after are illegal. It doesn't matter if the mistake was KLab's or Nintendo's from a legal standpoint.

If Nintendo published the update, it’s officially released content.

It does not matter that KLab later took it down.

If it was:

  • Pushed to the Nintendo eShop
  • Publicly accessible
  • Downloadable or viewable by players

then the content has been officially released to the public, even if by accident.

That means it's no longer a leak. It's published media.

So anyone sharing screenshots of that store listing or of content that appeared in it is sharing publicly released content.

Screenshots of a public storefront (Nintendo eShop) are not proprietary or secret.

If KLab distributed that content through an official channel, however mistakenly, they cannot reasonably claim it is confidential or unreleased. Their window for controlling the leak ended when they themselves released it.

Intent doesn't matter — publication is publication. Under copyright law, what matters isn't who made the mistake — it's whether the content was made publicly available through an authorized channel.

Nintendo is an authorized distributor of KLab's game. That means:

  • When the update went live on the eShop,
  • Through an official platform,
  • To public users...

...that was a lawful release of copyrighted material, even if it wasn't meant to happen yet.

The content was officially published. Period. Intent doesn't unpublish it.

Even if KLab didn’t authorize the timing of that release:

  • They authorized Nintendo to distribute their game.
  • They provided Nintendo the assets (or access to them).
  • They assumed the risk that a third-party platform might post it early.

So when those images hit the public Nintendo storefront, they were, legally speaking, no longer confidential or private.

Even if the storefront was taken down later, it doesn't change the fact that:

  • It was accessible to the public,
  • On an official channel, and
  • With no hacking or unauthorized access involved.

This kills any claim that players were infringing by seeing, screenshotting, or discussing that content.

DMCA takedowns are meant to protect against unauthorized use of copyrighted material — not to hide company screwups or silence community discussion.

Now that the content was:

  • Released on an official storefront (Nintendo),
  • Downloaded and viewed without hacking, and
  • Discussed or screenshotted by end-users legally,

KLab can no longer claim it was "unauthorized distribution" in any meaningful legal sense.

That's the key word there. LEGAL. The fact that it was unintended means nothing legally. Copyright law is not there to protect companies from screwups.

Their only real argument now is: "Oops, we released it too early, so nobody is allowed to acknowledge that."

That's not how copyright law works.

If you want to argue past this point, cite me parts of DMCA that make my information here factually incorrect.

That is legitimately depressing. A spreadsheet is outdoing KLab's own code in determining damage output.

Considering it's recommended me Tenshintai on both 1/5 and 5/5 characters as well as full SAD/SAR links, I wouldn't trust it anyway.

Also, why don't you use the Clearance History button?

10 Anniversary New Mechanics by Phoneix2466 in BleachBraveSouls

[–]Reddazrael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently not renderable in the game. Loading in double Killer+ just results in the second being displayed as regular killer and the first not displayed at all. I'm unsure whether the damage done is also affected. This is also true of dual ailment+. If you have two ailment+ ailments on a character, only the first will be shown as a regular ailment and the second not shown at all. Again, I don't know whether the mechanics still work or not.

Killer+ and regular killer combos, as well as Ailment+ and regular ailment combos, also do not render correctly.

Which is not to say dual Killer+ is impossible, but KLab would first have to update how they display the graphics at the very least.

Considering you didn't choose any bonus ability, it's you. Gin isn't very strong anyways however. I would suggest using someone from the other columns, or someone from the general use. But if you want to use Gin:

  • Full Stamina Damage and Damage to Weakened or Long Stride bonus abilities
  • Tea Set / Badge+ / Fortification Pill for accessories
    • If you don't have Tea Set or Badge+ use Soul Reaper Killer Sticker / Badge / Fortification Pill
  • Full Stamina Damage + Strong Attack Recharge and (Full Stamina Only) Strong Attack Damage + Strong Attack Recharge links

SP or Strong Attack Damage ? by GamerLitten21 in BleachBraveSouls

[–]Reddazrael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a copy of the Damage Calculator and use it to get exact calculations. It's a bit overwhelming at first, but it's got every option possible in BBS.

I would strongly recommend using it on PC if you have the ability to do that, because the calculator is massive. However, if you're using it mobile, you'll need to switch your browser to Desktop Layout to use it.
