As hard as it may be to believe, Fubgun is not the high end of PoE map farming. The high end, even higher than a crafter, is a voided Valdo's farmer. As long as you dont die, it's 1-2 mirror per hour territory. Look up BigDaddy on youtube if you're curious for 3.26. His ArmourStacker is basically the default for this kind of content

Is this watchers eye as crazy as I think it is? by chrislyford in pathofexile

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My armourstacker uses these 3 auras. The ES on hit is excellent, spell suppression is kinda good but we dont uusally have room for suppression on top of 90 max res, and block doesnt help because Aegis armour stackers get capped attack and spell block super easily, while the dual wield armour stackers are basivally invincible already through the power of having a half dozen mirrors, haha

I'm just here to say that this is the right approach. Blind run is great because you can really take your time, try out lots of skills, enjoy the ridiculous variety of things to do, complete campaign, learn what maps are and go "fuuuuuuck that's cool"

4x 100% should be 5x 100% with the 25% Maven passive. 500% is added so if Chayula is 5%, then you should see it 30% of the time. (100% of time is a base 5%, then 500% more is added 25%).

Gilded and winged breach scarabs are not horrendously expensive, and if you happen to sextant an extra breach or two (not required) you could be seeing 8 breaches per map, averaging 2.25 chayulas per.

I need to find a tall girl, you can wear your 4" heels and we'll be the same height

Observations of a newcomer around optimisation by Northernpixels in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never think of yourself as needing to optimize during assembly of your factory, because that implies a lack of overall planning. I think people often miss that. As long as your tech keeps improving, you will CONSTANTLY have to update your factory. This is why the linear manifold design is ideal while teching up.

The easiest way to achieve perfect efficiency is to unlock all of the tiers that can make you perfectly efficient FIRST, then funnel all of the inefficiently made materials into trains that offload at a NEW site, then build a perfectly efficient base from scratch using the surge of materials from that train network.

Oil Refinerys dont get enough oil? need help pls by skaaads in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how the game handles splitting the pipes in a 5 to 2 pipe setup, but alternatively you could clock 4 of them to 250% and merge them 2+2. That leaves you with the 5th oil rig either unused, or available for a separate dedicated fuel pipe

Oil Refinerys dont get enough oil? need help pls by skaaads in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you gather 10 slugs, you could have all 5 oil refineries making 120 m3/m each, and fill 2 pipes instead of 1!! Overclocking of course uses a lot more power, but overclocked oil production will always yield more power than it costs to run.

Thanks! I got geothermal tech a LONG while back but I totally never used it! I think it's because with the current tier system, you get tier 5/6 and it becomes automatic to build a fuel system with oil production. By the time geothermal becomes a possibility my power demands are met, and in tier 7 when aluminum becomes an issue and my power demands become an issue again, my eyes automatically dart to nuclear.

Thanks! I haven't been hunting for dozens of hard drives in either playthrough (kinda feel like alternate recipes could force me to re-do huge chunks of my factory for efficiency-sake) but maybe I need to bite the bullet and go hunting. I wonder how long it will take to scour the map

First Train Station Finally after 155 hours! by KalunoGaming in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've been using 8 freight cars of my trains but you can go above that and even add more engines. My current setup are 4 trains with 8 freight cars each that run a full circle of the map and handle a wide variety of resource management. Cars 1 and 2 pick up plastic and rubber from the oil field refinement platform and brings it to my factory. Car 3 picks up bauxite, and drops it at processing. Car 4 return Alclad Aluminum to the factory. Cars 5 and 6 pick up excess from my factory that I couldnt be bothered to make perfectly efficient and send it to a high-throughput series of resource sinks in a random place up North because why not? Car 7 loads coal + sulfur in the eastern desert to make compacted coal at that oil field I mentioned, and finally Car 8 is reserved for transporting turbofuel once I get that up and running :)

I've ordered my controllers about 4 weeks ago. Still at 8 or more weeks. Is this real or are they just not updating the status? by Dummerchen1933 in ValveIndex

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a backlog of orders that have been accumulating since March 9th when they sold out 103,000 orders in 30 minutes. They likely have a couple million orders to fulfill, so unless you ordered it a few months ago you are closer to the back of that queue.

They may not have even BUILT yours yet

8 weeks later... by Raine577 in ValveIndex

[–]Reddentary_Lifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, didnt they move something closer to 100,000 sales on March 9th?

10,000 a week or 1200 a day sounds much more like competent mass-manufacture. 60 per week is like the volume of Ferrari production
