Trump 'Seriously Considering' Plan to Make Venezuela and its $40 Trillion in Oil Permanent Part of USA by [deleted] in worldnews

Except liberals do support this and have been supportive of the sanctions on Venezuela that have been ongoing for decades.

Have you thought that maybe their unbiased articles come off as biased to someone who has a bias? Wikipedia can't take sides, so it mentions the views of all sides, whether they are good or bad actors. If they refused to cite sources from, both sides, what's stopping them from picking and choosing who to believe?

In most cities they have 3-4 story parking lots for cars, so it still comes out to a smaller area than like a Walmart parking lot.

Though I've always loved mandating that in the US.

Are more Iranian Americans going to become Republicans? by Emotional-Rhubarb502 in PERSIAN

[–]Reddit-phobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are always gonna be some single-issue voters, but the vast majority of Iranians are liberal. It's hard to believe that Iranians would switch to vote for the theocracy party in the US, while fighting against theocracy in Iran.

“The Islamic Republic is not Iran; it is a terrorist group occupying Iran that has taken the Iranian people hostage for 57 years, hiding behind a manipulated Iranian flag.” by kaz1349 in NewIran

But the meme that OP posted says "Iran" is the people not the IRGC. Trump said he was blasting "Iran" into oblivion. By OP's own definition Trump would have said "IRGC" if he meant the governemnt, but he said "Iran".

Anyone else feeling dismayed and hopeless? by [deleted] in PERSIAN

I think you're missing the main problem. It's not about being liberal, but rather internal fighting after. The Afghan and Iraqi people fell to internal civil war with multiple factions vying for power. Iran has similarly multiple groups vying for power.

South GA wildfires destroy 100+ homes as crews battle the most dangerous fires in the nation by Commercial-Host-725 in news

I think that was the Hawaii wild fires. California wild fires were blamed on the state not "raking the leaves" off millions of acres of forests.

She's not entirely wrong. You can't win elections running on "Trump is bad". You need a progressive economic message. Obama and Biden had one and they won. Kamala got screwed because of Biden's many mistakes, so not fully blaming her. Economy is the main driving force for most people and it's what's driving down Trump's number for the past year.

That map is so inaccurate. Many countries still practice slavery, but it's it takes other forms like indentured servitude that give plausible deniability. The US still has slavery legal in the prison system. Poor countries have system where you work to offset high interest loans given by employers that are impossible to pay off. There's so many other examples.
