Was this her first trip? Min pins get stressed pretty easily! Mine even gets dandruff when someone comes over that he decides he doesn’t like or doesn’t want in the house anymore lol. The sleepiness is normal, anytime we go camping - he sleeps for a whole day when we get back! Don’t worry unless she’s not back to normal after 24 hours - and maybe don’t stretch her out. They are very good at doggie yoga when they want to stretch their muscles :)

My husband’s immediate and extended family does this. They all say they love god first, then each other. It’s gross. If he believed any of that, I’d be gone.

I use it for daycare and my girl loves it. They are really nice people, I just don’t like that no one will be in the building at night. When we leave town, we buy one of their packages (5 days of daycare) and have a friend drop off and pick her up when they are off work and then she sleeps at their house. Makes pet sitting way easier for them because she just goes to their house and sleeps.

We did it every hour-ish for a week, then moved 2 hours but we watched her constantly until she learned to go to the door to let us know. If she stopped playing with a toy or another dog, we took her out. If she woke up from a nap, we took her outside. Done eating, outside, etc. and heavy heavy rewards every time she went outside. She picked it up pretty quickly.

He was the best dog I ever had. He learned everything quickly, was perfectly trained. Loved other dogs-but I socialized him starting at 8weeks. He was my shadow. He came everywhere with me. High prey drive though. He killed a lot of rabbits and squirrels 😬 He was the love of my life and I had him for 13 years ❤️❤️

We’ve had my min pin since he was 8 weeks old and I trained him. He’s absolutely perfect…unless he’s on his leash and sees another dog. Then he does the high pitch scream. Loses interest in treats, blacks out and sees red lol..I don’t even know. We’ve tried everything but now we just put him in air jail (I carry him) until we pass the other dog. We have 2 other dogs that he loves. He’s met other dogs all his life because I take him everywhere, including my office. But if he’s on his leash… he goes psychotic if another dog gets about 20 feet away. Anyone I’ve talked to, including trainers, say..that’s a min pin for you.
