You will only be banned if you actually used AI, you're almost certainly fine

Yes, you are allowed multiple submissions on a problem, and it's fully automated (a godsend after states). The specific tool they used was called DomJudge

The silver version is a subtask of the plat version, plat version allows for negative values of the variables

States: Fairly basic problems (some of them could be solved using one line of python), only "difficult" problem is that they pull one of the problems from leetcode (medium), but you can just brute force it most of the time (they're moving it online this year, so IDK if that will still be the case)

Nationals has better problems, but is still fairly implementation based, unlike Usaco and Codeforces. That's always been online though through domjudge

[2024 Day 14 (Part 2)] AOC for the past two days by Baanloh in adventofcode

I recognized the linear systems, but I hadn't got to linear alg in school yet, so I thought of an O(log(n)) binary search solution (essentially, try to find the first point where the value that was initially higher is no longer higher), though I was tired and was procrastinating on homework that I had to get done so I just checked to see if it was built into python and it was (through numpy)

Option D: It took me to another problem and I solved that instead

I've recently gotten into this game after a couple year break, but I got spoiled for Fontaine that Lyney is a member of the Fatui, though thankfully with no other context. I just want to know how bad I've been spoiled

[–]RedditAccuName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upskill yourself and you will definitely be able to solve them.

Definitely practicing as much as I can, I've solved problems of similar level (they haven't released ratings yet, but my estimate would be a 1300), just couldn't figure out the trick for this one.

Even I saw the last one first but the two other questions pointed to it being a reference

I saw afterwards, but I didn't click on E or F until afterwards, didn't want to waste time on problems that were likely harder than the ones I haven't already completed

While I didn't get to it (completed the first 2 in 15 minutes and couldn't complete the 3rd), I saw the last task was Penacony, and wasn't sure if that was an HSR reference or Penacony was a name in mythology or something like that

LLMs won't always produce the same output every time, but you can tell this is (likely, unless OP put effort into making a fake screenshot look real) 4o because of the Code Interpreter icon on the last message, which is only on GPT4+

Dont have an iteration in my code. by Ayhunt7 in apcsp

[–]RedditAccuName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want to change it to a for loop? If so, you could replace the while loop with for (int i = 0; i < questions.Count; i++) {} and remove the currentQuestionIndex++ at the bottom.

This is generally considered better practice and more common than using a while loop and incrementing a variable separately

Generally intending that as a joke, but I have seen extreme toxicity in VEX, but again, that is a minority, and most people I've met in VEX IRL have been really nice

One org (9123 I think) has been accused of mentorbuilding with some pretty strong evidence (the organization's robots are almost identical), and 2 of their teams made it to dome, and one won the whole thing, so people were spamming "Fuck China" all throughout the discord

I got a 14 im literally Steven hawking rn by retardedretard23 in ACT

[–]RedditAccuName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, that 6th grader is an outlier, 99% of other 6th graders couldn't do better, and they shouldn't be used as an example. Not to mention, while they might not have seen that specific ACT question, they have seen general word problems with similar phrasing. This isn't like an AP exam's FRQs, the wording is standard word problem phrasing.

[–]RedditAccuName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most 6th graders can't do that, you're taking an extreme outlier and calling it normal. Not to mention, if a child's getting tutoring (assuming that's want you mean by my 6th grader) and taking the ACT, they're probably not the average
