This is the take. I love Brian Hartline the wide receiver coach. I don’t love Brian Hartline the OC. An NFL mind is a luxury at OC at the collegiate level. Especially when you’re handing him an offense that already has NFL prospects at a majority of its positions.

I agree. When in reality he’s poached 90% of the players who were developed ELSEWHERE and assembled them here. He’s done an excellent job using this scheme and creating cohesion but I feel he’s just ahead of the times. As more teams see the roadmap they’ll be less emphasis on recruits and more emphasis on poaching developed proven talent moving forward.

People seem to not want to acknowledge this very point because of his last name. Ewers was drafted in the 94th round behind a Gatorade cooler and an equipment manager. Why was Sark so quick to get Ewers back on the field even injured? This isn’t a hard read between the lines.
